What an amazing experience this was. They are not kidding when they say they are giving you an Italian wedding experience. Food kept rolling at steady pace for more than an hour, and not a single dish was bad or mediocre. You don't order anything here, just tell them what you can't eat, but I guess it is best if you go here being able to eat everything as it is 65 pounds per head and I am weary substitutions wouldn't be as good.

An amazing experience. A full course meal that is delicious and versatile. The full hog roast is divine and the wine and the wine options of a high quality. Highly recommended but book at least 1 month in advance

Al Boccon Di' vino in Richmond is by far the best italin restaurant in London for sure ! Such a charming ambience alomst transports you to Italy . This was my third visit and I must say they are so consistent with the food , the freshness of the produce , the flavors everything is spot on . It's a tasting menu so make sure you literally go there on a empty stomach because they serve generous portions and each course is so delicious .The service is amazing , litrally one waiter managing the entire service doing a great job .Simona the restaurant manager is the life of Al Boccon Di vino , she makes sure everyone is well taken care of by visiting each table number of times throughout the service pouring wine , chatting with all the guests making them feel so special effortlessly with a big smile on her face . she makes sure everyone has a fabulous experience .

Great restaurant with a family feel! All the courses are great - especially the showstopper pork! Service was also fantastic and they really made us feel at home. Not cheap, but not a bad value for the great food.

The food at this restaurant is amazing. It only has one sitting and there is no menu. You eat the dishes they prepare based on available ingredients that day. We had six courses including prosciutto ham and asparagus, beans, prawns and scallops, pasta and wild boar. The food was superbly prepared and delicious. It cost £65 each plus £30 for a bottle of house red.

Nothing like you’ve ever experienced. There is no menu. The chef just feeds you dozens of courses. I went many times when I lived there and I only saw it once but there is a Peach dessert which I would do anything to get the recipe for! (I lived around the corner and one night had 23 courses.) Everything is divine! Important note: the main course is served at the same time for all diners so if you get a 6pm reservation or an 8 pm reservation you will still eat the main when the main course is out of the oven. One seating per night. Make reservations accordingly. The best!

Absolutely stunning dinner! There is no menu; I think we had about 6-7 courses in total, and each was so special. The star of the show however was the roast pig, which was served as our main.

Went there because of good reviews, and hopes were high. A multi- course Italian dinner of chef’s choises of the day - and the whole thing done similtaneously to all in that small restaurant - wonderful consept! Was hoping to have nice wines too for different dishes - but all they had by glass was inexpensive IGT wines. For bottles: no list, but some decent barolos and brunellos decorating their walls. Didn’t have a bottle on my own.About food - having lived in Italy for years I have to say there was little Italian in any of the dishes. 1)Starter salad with young prociutto, that no one explained where it came from and how was it matured2) followed by (ok) pork sausace on spinache, but nothing complicated for a chef to do3) prawns in tomato sauce - cooked until so dry I left them4) plain scallops in oven, again over cooked (from frozen, both? why not have them really fresh when you know how many people are going to have this at this spesific day and time? Or then choose another ingredient, fresh?5) razor clams in oven, topped with parsely and oil… nothing amazing, repeating my self but over cooked6) ravioli with aspargus filling - would eat this without question over any casual lunch but no reason to praise chef’s skills. No finesse. Simple cream sauce.7) whole pork was brought by applauze and I guess some people do enjoy pouring gravy and shredding their pork pieces - but sorry was not really the Italian experience I was hoping for8) panna cotta with berries. Simple and easy to do also at home.Bill for 2 ppl including compulsory tip: 199£
