Handy Dan York

Both times I phoned with no response maybe he was busy, I have a few jobs that need doing and finding it difficult to find someone to help star's n a as I didn't even speak to him

We have been using Handy Dan since we moved in to our house 5 years ago. We have carried out extensive work all over our property and Dan has been at the heart of a lot of the work, internal oak doors, all aspects of joinery work, tilling, boarding out the loft, hanging the tv, outside painting il be honest what has he not done. Thing I can say about Dan is he’s professional, on time, reliable, very very high standard of work and always looks after his customers and gives you an honest opinion. We have just recently had some bespoke shelves and cupboards made by him and overall we are very very pleased. Highly recommend him to anybody. He’s one of the good guys in the trade game. Handy Dan is an excellent workman who has carried out work for me on many occasions. He is professional and always gives me extremely helpful and informative advice. He is very versatile and takes great care over every job he does. He carried out repairs after there was a leak in my bathroom. He has put in flooring and tiling. He has cleaned my gutters, mended a wooden chair and replaced a toilet. He also repaired a door that wouldn't shut and he did it so well that the door now opens and closes better than it has ever done before. He came to me again today to put sealant around the edge of my bathroom floor. I very highly recommend Dan's work.

Dan has done a number of jobs for us, from putting up curtain rails and fitting new skirting boards to installing, tiling and decorating our new bathroom. Every job has been done to a very high standard and exactly as we requested. Dan took great care to minimise disturbance and clean up thoroughly every day which was very much appreciated. Dan clearly takes pride in his work; we are extremely pleased with everything he has done and would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

Dan has done a variety of jobs for me over the past few years. He is honest, professional, courteous and considerate. If you get yourself organised and clear and clean areas where Dan is working he can get a lot done in the time agreed. He also goes the extra mile. I definitely recommend Dan.

Dan has done a great job on two showers which were badly in need of new grouting and sealant. He worked really hard on them and has transformed them so that they are like new again. Very tidy, reliable and punctual - I will definitely be using Dan again.

I don't normally write reviews for things, but Dan really was very handy.He managed to perfectly fit our shutters in a large bay window in no time and cleared up all mess afterwards - we've never had such a tidy and exacting job done.Dan is a nice chap, clearly knows what he is talking about, and we would trust him with any job on our house.
