Even aside from it being one of the only places in Brighton and Hove to eat traditional Sri Lankan dishes, it’s truly my favourite restaurant - can’t get enough. I’d recommend the cheese Kothu with cauliflower side and a Kiri Hodi sauce. Don’t walk, run If you see coconut cheesecake is in stock… it is perfection

The service is quick, staff are lovely but the food is meh. It’s good, it’s not amazing, it’s just average. We got the dhal vade but it was really dry and way too hard. I think overcooked. Maybe I should’ve given the curry a go. For our mains, we got the Jackfruit & Veggie Kottu and my friend got the Seafood Kottu. I’d give the jackfruit and veggie kottu a miss but the seafood one is nicer.

Super tasty Sri Lankan street food!! The kottus were fresh and flavourful,we also had calamaris and loaded sweet potato fries and there were both amazing!I've been to Sri Lanka 4 times and this lovely gem did not disappoint :)Thank you the Lankan!

Tried their Creamy Chicken Kottu and it was delicious. Very much close to authentic Sri Lankan style.

I could eat here everyday! So delicious and big portions.I love the plates, beautiful presentation!Cannot wait to go back, can you please open a Lankan in my town too?? :)
