Ming Chen Clinics

I have known Ming for many years and she is an excellent practitioner. Acupuncture was of great benefit to me during the menopause - (infact I sailed through it with literary no problems or symptoms) , and I put that firmly down to my monthly treatments from Ming. I also found acupuncture very good for sciatic. I remember visiting Ming in great pain and walking out an hour later literally pain free! I see her on a regular basis and I feel that keeps me healthier and happier!

Ming Chen is the best acupuncturist I’ve ever seen. I’m from California but lived in Edinburgh for many years. During my time there I suffered from debilitating stomach issues. Ming helped me greatly and I haven’t experienced a reoccurrence since.I was in Edinburgh for a week in August. I’d been struggling with chronic tailbone pain for seven months and decided to book an appointment with Ming. It was amazing! After seeing her, I was pain free for two weeks. That might not sound like a lot but, after suffering day in and day out for months, the relief was astounding. I’ve yet to find an acupuncturist in California who can replicate these results.If you have a difficult case, bring it to Ming! Her expertise is phenomenal.

I suffered with adult acne for years, nothing that the GP or Dermatologist gave me cleared it long term and some of the medications permanently damaged my organs. I was recommended Ming and after just 4 months of acupuncture (2015) it was gone and I've had clear skin ever since. I can't thank you enough, Ming! Would 100% recommend.

I had suffered a facial palsy which after having steroids showed no improvement. I was very fortunate to hear Ming speak about the benefits of acupuncture at the facial palsy support group, and how we could all benefit from her treatments. I came home and booked an appointment and after just 5 treatments I have movement and feeling back in my face, which is amazing. I have been seeing Ming regularly over a number of years for a chronic lung complaint and can not speak highly enough of her professionalism, care and attention. I had massive problems with my ankle and physiotherapists could not help me … tried for years. Age 27Ming helped me (over a lot of sessions) and 3 decades later my ankle has been as good as gold. Now aged 57She truly is the real deal.

Very professional and excellent treatments available (I had acupuncture). I’ve had tightness from my shoulder down to the back of my hand for a few years, however after 1 session here the tightness was practically gone!Would highly recommend to people with any muscle tightness that has persisted after trying other treatment methods (i.e Deep Tissue Massage).

Over the years I have been successfully treated for many issues using acupuncture, cupping, massage and herbs, all have been fantastic. Great place that fixed my back muscle problem.I had, according to my GP, a muscle trauma in my back. This caused other muscles to be over-worked and resulted in severe back pains. My GP said that massage would be a good place to start, it didn't need to be physio but a good massage would do the trick. I heard a bout Ming Chen's clinic and I made an appointment with Cathy Waddell. I went for 5 sessions, but the results were already very noticeable after the first one; my pain levels went from horrible to barely noticeable. This improved to no back pain at all after the final session. Cathy did wonders and I went from limping around to doing nice long walks again without any issues. I can't recommend Cathy highly enough, she literally took my pain away. If you have any need for a massage, go and contact Ming's Chen Clinic and ask for Cathy.
