Made An Appointment 2 Weeks Ago, I Asked If I Could Have My Hair Dreaded, I Was Told No, I Asked If I Could Have My Hair Platted Instead I Was Told Yes By One Of The Managers (Lady With Blonde Hair) I Turned Up Today And After Waiting An Hour I'm Finally Told The Hairdresser Was Ready For Me, As Well As Being Told There Was No One Able To Platt My Hair. I Improvised And Asked To Have It Tied Up Or Something Was Told No. Also The Lady Who Told Me I Could Have It Platted 2 Weeks Prior Interrupted Me In Conversation To Tell Me She Never Said I Could Have It Platted, I Had To Ask Can I Finish?" Then Let Her Know She Did Indeed Say That

Came in for a simple wash cut blow-dry, booked for 1.30 arrived at 1.20.I was sat there for fourty minutes and no one even came over to me again.I put all my coat and stuff back on and tried to speak to the receptionist as I had a train to catch so couldn't wait any longer and he just ignored me and carried on chatting to two other women instead.Not to mention the place was filthy, the place I was sat had at least four different people's hair on the floor.Avoid unless you're desperate and have nothing else to do

High don’t reccomend, I was invited for an interview which then turned out to be a group presentation on how good their company is. During this presentation I was told there provide all resources and placements to start my apprenticeship. They told me I was guaranteed to have a placement within 2 weeks. I was then told at the end of the presentation that they won’t be doing my interview that day and I have to go a ring around a few salons to try and find my own placements,, nearly 4 weeks later and still haven’t heard anything from them and wasn’t given a placement or any support to even try and get me set up on my apprenticeship, even though they said they will %100 contact me at some point with a placement in the next 2 weeks. Waste of my time and energy!

Would give a 0 if I could, place was filthy, left with worse roots than I went in with, full head highlights resulted in me going from platinum blonde to ginger! Hair wasn’t even brushed before putting foils in and the sectioning was that bad my hair matted. Receptionist is rude and has 0 customer service skills, could’ve got more of a smile out of a brick wall, guy singing people in kept referring to me as ‘pal’ (not professional at all) , college staff that are meant to be qualified left the student struggling and to make clear visible mistakes on my hair! Absolute joke, had to go get my hair bleached twice straight after from my hairdresser to rectify their mistakes. College staff are to blame, more bothered about chatting than showing how to correctly do it( or they clearly don’t know how to either) I want a refund!!

I've been a few times and always had good experiences. It's a training school, hence why it costs basically nothing (I paid £11 for a wash, cut & restyle and blow dry). Each time I've been ive either had my hair cut by someone in training or by a trainer with a group watching - this doesn't bother me in the slightest as everyone starts somewhere and I've always been happy with the result. I most recent had Jack cut my hair and he was great - really chatty without being overbearing and kept asking my opinion on what he was doing (cut, length etc). If you come here, get a really cheap cut etc, and are happy with the results I would recommend tipping the team too; it makes sense.This most recent visit was my first cut post lockdown and I can assure you that they are doing everything by the book. Temperature check upon entering, questionnaire, everyone wearing the correct ppe etc. Lots of disposable ppe used and everything very clean, could also see that regular cleaning checklists were being carried out. The more senior staff were also regularly checking their team's ppe too. So for anyone concerned about safety during the current pandemic, I would recommend this place.

Having travelled up from Cambridge in the morning, I hadn’t planed to have my hair cut, but I saw the salon Michaeljohn , I walked in on the off chance I would be able to get an appointment there and then, and was pleasantly surprised to be given an appointment straight away. The staff were lovely and chatty, and listened to how I wanted my hair cut. I left the salon feeling 100% content and would seriously recommend to others. Thanks guys I left feeling a million dollars.

Easy to book online. Super friendly staff.I had my hair cut today by Madison. Not only did she do a fabulous job, she was also wonderful to talk to. She spoke enthusiastically and with passion about hairdressing. I intend on returning to get my hair colour changed.Thank you.

I booked an appointment through the Treatwell app for a blow dry scheduled for 15th October at 10.30am. On arrival, I was told to sit and wait. 30 minutes later, I was still waiting for my turn and the staff was ignoring me and was unable to communicate (or just didn't bother telling me) the reasons of the delay . I eventually decided to leave afterwards.Don't waste your time there, there are plenty of salons in town where you'll be considered in far better way.
