I have never felt so unwelcome and looked down upon in my life. I took some jewellery in to be appraised and it turns out that the man supposed to be the 'expert' knows absolutely nothing. He claimed a ruby was synthetic, and wouldn't give me the time of day. I've never met anybody who has such a superiority complex and actually has no idea what they're talking about. Arrogant, and so far up their own arse they're giving themselves colonic irrigation are phrases I'd use to describe the service I received when visiting copes jewellers. Ignorant and snobby. My advice is, if you want a pleasant service and to leave with some actual knowledge of the jewellery you've got, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

I visited today for a battery and watch strap for my sisters watch, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and even though they couldn’t help me, she took me to the cobblers 2 doors down, which I really did appreciate.

Rubbish/no after sales. No exchanges, no refunds. It’s like going back in time and the owner is really stuck up. Would suggest people to go elsewhere to a proper modern jewellers.
