Greyfriars ruin. Not very big, but still good to know a bit of its history. Obviously free entry. Not too far away from the National Library and Museum.

Really old ruins that is not properly managed. Smells of weed and piss because dodgy dealings and homeless people now just come and congregate here. A real shame.

Interesting Monastic Building buried in the square between the church and shopping center. English Heritage site. Once you have found Greyfriars (the street) just keep going. It is hidden behind a modern building which seems to be supporting one of the old walls. You don't need much time here but do go and see the Cathedral when in Gloucester and leave plenty of time for that.

Don't believe the opening times. Just been, 7th October, where notice states open April to October . Phoned someone to be told they decided to close early this year.
