Ringstead Bay Car Park

Car park is a well managed affair with toilets and a small shop and cafe. You do have to pay a tool to use the access road, and the road down is sprinkled with a large spread of sleeping policeman.

Great small place good services including refreshment. If you wanna know about surroundings ask the guy selling the tickets. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Best is to buy ticket for the whole day. You may park your car there and walk to the Durdle door on coastal path. It's a looooong walk through out steep hills 6x but the views are stunning. Expect about 2 hours walk one way. You can catch bus back from Durdle Door or Luwther Cave but it will dropp you just on the side road which is quite distance to walk uphill. Check the map and some of the villages is on the top of the hill, better option to walk back to Ringstead parking place

Great place to park to enjoy Ringstead be Bay beach and sea

Absolutely loved it. Parking is £6 all day which compared to other places is cheap eg Lulworth Cove is £10 for all day - and they now take cards for parking and at the shop (£2.50 min payment). Easy access to the beach - ramp ideal for kayaks etc on trolleys. Not too crowded and vv clean clear water made for great snorkelling - saw loads of fish. Didnt eat at the cafe so cant comment on food but all staff were friendly. Will definitely be back

Love ringstead it’s stunning and I have no issue paying £6 parking, but despite the young lady in shop seemingly have not much to do the toilets were disgusting- not clean, no loo roll etc and the bin directly in the shop was overflowing - would not have wanted to eat at one if those tables with overflowing food and dog poo bags next to me.A disappointing visit to a place I actually adore!

Disappointed despite it costing £6 to park, we couldn’t choose to go because we were in our small campervan and campervans were not allowed. I was using it as a day vehicle with no intention of staying so went to Tyneham instead.

I've got no idea why people whinge about this parking, which is the same as any other private parking operation at any other beach. Park, pay, get on with your day.

Expensive parking if you're only having a flying visit, but convenience outweighs it. Well managed and short walk to beach. Good price if you're staying for the day.
