What a great place! Couldn’t be happier with my visit! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was made to feel welcome and I had all my questions answered and more! I went into the shop knowing nothing about air rifles/pistols and left with loads of information to enable me to make the right decisions and take the first steps towards ownership. Helped me think about which direction to go and had great discussions with staff. Also recommended good ranges and gun clubs I can make use of. They have a huge amount of Air rifles and pistols, both new and used offering amazing savings and 3 month guarantee on the used guns they sell which I think is brilliant. They have a whole floor dedicated to guns that you would need a licence for such as shotguns and so on, with tonnes of gear, ammo, knives, targets and clothing. I definitely recommend this place. Made a deal over the phone , and explaining that my gun wasn't in perfect condition (Beretta s686 special pictures below), and that the barrels probably wanted re bluing and that the stock had a light scratch on it , nick replied doesn't matter about the barrels so long as the stock wasn't cracked and it wasn't as you can see from the photos .after traveling 60 miles to buy a new gun from them only to be told the barrels weren't good enough after speaking to John the manager over the phone and droped the price by £100 . I've since part ex the gun at bamfords and they gave me £400 for it and told me the gun needed no repair and was in a good sale able condition as it was , must add bamfords was a pleasure to do business with.ps these are the pictures that I emailed to nick , and John thanks for your reply below may be if you ask nick he will show you his email I sent him attached with these pictures below , then may be you could reply again not calling me a liar .

Brilliant service from the guys at Bolton last month assisting me with shipping items outside the UK. So helpful, patient and understanding, I couldn’t have done it without their help. I have dealt with the lads at CGR ( Stockport ) for some time. I travel up from Stoke on occasions for work in Stockport. The staff are always pleasant, and have good knowledge in regards to the products they sell. You can tell that they really enjoy their work. It's always a Saturday when I am there, and the place is usually bustling with customers. I will be heading up there in two weeks time again. Great people to deal with. 5 stars from me.AussieMart
