Went in there and was served by Barry he went out his way to work out what I needed and quote me all in less than a hour were Parker’s didn’t even get back to me in over a week. Top man Barry thank you.

Really nice friendly staff. Above and beyond. And good value!

Placed and order for garden fence panels on 30th May for Delivery in Hastings on 6 June. Everything confirmed by email. On 6 June Checked with Jewson CS mid-morning who confirmed with the Hastings branch that the order was “out for delivery today”; mid afternoon called Hastings branch to update and informed that my delivery was dispatched on the third delivery of the day and should arrive by 4.30pm. As nothing by 4.30pm called Hastings Branch again and told that the driver still had 3 deliveries, but should be with me today and if there was a change would call me. No further call and no delivery. Total waste of time!

The price of so many things in Jewson's, here in St Leonard's o/s are so much more then you can buy elsewhere.I don't mine spending a few pounds over the top, but when you pay 50 to 100%, extra is what I call a rip off.Every time I buy something from Jewson's, I always find it much more expensive then anywhere else, for example, I bought a tin of paint, only to find it £10 cheaper on Amazon, and freely delivered to my door, that's 50% lower then Jewson's, which is no joke, but day light robbery.If you are buying in quantity, then grab hold of the manger first, and, tell him how much cheaper it is down the road, as I did, he may then undercut them, if he is in a good mood.The only problem is that the staff don't believe you, when you go to pay.I am now sticking to Amazon, and Alford's.
