Meca Car Services (Exeter)

I have used Meca twice now, once for a service and today, for my MOT. Easy to call or email to speak to someone - Excellent customer service and friendly staff. I shall certainly recommend to others. Thank you!

I have been using Meca for a few years now, cannot fault the service and they really do go above and beyond. Simple things like organising a collection after hours and also sending a reminder when you MOT is due (which i can confirm, is very helpful for a busy mum) I cannot recommend enough.

They are always right. Customers are always wrong. We don't know nothing about how cars they work, but however they do know everthing. Cool place to WASTE your money rather then fixing your car, because they can't fix anything this guys. They care about your £££ more, quick fixes which lasts untill you leave the place. Please AVOID and trust the low rating reviews are this are the only positive ones.EDIT: Yes, it's fake. That's why I'm back again with an EDIT and letting people know that my review is as real as their service is. Do not go there. Cheers.

Meca sorted out my van with short notice, fitting me in when I was really stuck. When i experienced some strange issues with my van post the repair they took the van back in and completely checked everything again and was back on the road next day. Would recommend them.

I’ve used Meca 2-3 times now. I was recommended by a friend and sold on them being a female owned garage. I’ve had experiences using other mechanics where I’ve been spoken down to, not had things explained to me properly and probably been ripped off. Meca has always been very friendly, taken the time to explain options and costs to me, and encouraged me to shop around for other quotes. They are also very efficient and the prices are really reasonable, always the best quote I’ve had.Recently I had a coil spring snap and they fixed it for me within hours so my car was safe to drive again. The payment assist plan is also really helpful. I used it for a larger job to spread the costs otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to afford the work required.I don’t know why they are being hassled with weird fake reviews - the are genuinely a great, friendly and efficient garage!

After everyone else told me there was no solution to my poor headlights these guys came up with an inexpensive solution drove home from Plymouth last night 100% improvement highly recommend meca services

My wipers broke while I was on the M5 and I found this garage as it was near work. I needed an emergency repair as I don't live locally and my insurance wouldn't cover me since it wasn't raining currently. I was told to come in the mechanic fixed it within 5 mins free off charge!

Amazing garage, with communicative, friendly team and more than fair pricing.My van broke down whilst on a camping trip and needed to be towed to a garage. I picked MECA as they were fairly local to where I had been staying. Paul and the team were all super friendly, lent me a courtesy car, diagnosed and fixed the problem(s), gave me regular updates and made me feel comfortable with all they were doing.Given I’m a single lady, turning up with the van on a trailer they had every opportunity to quote high prices knowing I couldn’t get the van away from the garage. But they didn’t, the prices seemed super fair, especially considering all of the time that they spent on her (even bypassing original mechanical parts with electrical as it’s just not possible to get the right bits in the timeframe I had available. I’m hugely grateful to the team - thank you for all the work you put in. Apologies it’s taken me a few weeks to get this written up!!! Keep doing what you do so well ☺️
