Saltwater Fish & Chips
Fantastic little chippy. You can eat in or takeaway. Atmosphere and decor are wonderful and staff are attentive. Cod size is great for the price and tastewise, the best fish and chips I've had to date. They also have a Daily Catch menu which have a variety of fish. I would definitely come back here again. 10/10, lovely first experience.

A really great place..! Being on the seafront, and having the inherent tourist traffic that comes with that, it would be easy to just “phone it in”, knowing that a large portion of your customer base won’t be coming back very often… this place doesn’t fall into that trap. The staff are friendly… the manager/owner(?) even gave us napkins on entry to dry our specs after coming in from a torrent, and was attentive without being overbearing. The food was absolutely excellent… some of the best fish n’ chips I’ve eaten. Not at all greasy and very fresh. Oh, and the background music is a cornucopia of 80’s greatness..!

Always seek this place out when we're down in Torquay. Have great fish and prawns. Hope today was just a blip, as the fish was measly. Ordered a small and regular cod, judging it on other fish and chip shop sizes, what I got was extra small and small. Not good value for money today I'm afraid. Chips were OK as was the fish cake. Shame about the fish..

Delicious food, a little pricey. Dine in fish and chips comes with unlimited chips, which are cooked fresh each time you want more. The chips are outstanding.Grilled fish dishes come with either a salad or chips. I had monkfish and chose the salad and upgraded to feta and tomato for an extra cost - this was delicious but quite a small amount of food!

The fish and chips were very good but it came to £40 for two portions with tea, the most expensive chippy we've been to!! I was expecting some tartare sauce and bread and butter included with it but no.Also the person serving us wasn't very friendly, he was very quick to do things and didn't ask if our food was ok.Also the catch of the day was very limited when we were here.

Fantastic range of fish all cooked amazingly. Highly recommended the grilled fish and unlimited chips is great for when you're very hungry.

First time coming here because over the years it's always been packed so never been able to go in,Today it wasn't so busy, service was amazing and staff were so helpful and friendly. Ordered our food and didn't have to wait long either.. I had cod, with unlimited chips, mushy peas and a drink, food was lovely and hot, and it's probably one of the best pieces of cod I've had.. the chips were so nice makes a change from these big chips you normally get everywhere..Will definitely go there again if it's not too busy, they they also do take out and delivery so would definitely recommend.
