Charlie's Stores at the Parc y Llyn Retail Park, Aberystwyth (behind Morrisons) is a vast store selling a wide range of hardware items, outdoor clothing, kitchenware and garden plants and accessories. There is very good customer service and it is well worth a visit.

Poor service. Made a telephone enquiry about a tool as I live quite far out, and needed the info before driving in. But the man said that the item I was intersted in was way at the back of the store whilst he was at the tills. He could have put me on hold and gone had a look, that's what a decent sales assistant would do. Lazy people who cannot be bothered should not be in sales.

Not the full shilling when it comes to a DIY store.Others are far better stocked, but not located in the Aberystwyth area unfortunately.Plus, pushed in your face the second you walk in the store is Christmas....nearly turned around and walked out..!!It's still September......!!!

We love Charlie's. The staff are fabulous, friendly and super helpful. The range of stuff would put even the biggest B&Q to shame and they deliver locally. What's not to like?
