Came here today for a full head of highlights and cut after seeing the reviews on google and safe to say I am really impressed! Sharron was so helpful and knowledgeable the whole way through, I wanted a natural looking fringe and light blonde highlights and I'm so so happy with the results I can't thank her enough! Would definitely recommend, thank you for making my hair feel like 'me' again :) xx

I had a restyle from James today, and it was a fantastic cut!! He's so friendly and professional and genuinely talented. I've got fine, thin curly hair and I was ready for a change. He did a great baby mullet and dealt really well with my curls. I usually find going to salons stressful and feel nervous but I was instantly comfortable. 10/10!

My hair has been done by Amy for about a year now. I was trying to find a good hairdresser and I deffo found it! She did my cooper/ ginger colour and I absolute am obsessed!! She’s amazing and so so so friendly I always recommend her to anyone looking for a hairdresser

I got my hair cut here today by James and my experience was beyond lovely. I'm usually very anxious when I go to a hair salon but James made me feel at ease immediately, he was friendly and professional and even offering guidance on products that I could use on my hair to help it have more texture. I also really liked how he offered his professional opinion such as adding light layers, it's always nice when I have no idea what could look nice on myself but James was able to give his professional opinion and make me look way nicer than when I came into the salon.When I left, I couldn't stop looking at my reflection in all the shop mirrors I was passing by, I'm surprised I didn't walk into a pole! Overall the service was fantastic and I'm so happy with my hair, I'll certainly be back again!Thank you again James!

After months of terrible experiences at several local hairdressers, I came in to see Sharron.She gave me a thorough consultation and discussed what was best to do with my hair colour.She got me booked in quickly and on arrival for my appointment I was well looked after, seen early and put at ease.Sharron did an amazing colour job to my hair and for the first time in months it's looked healthy, shiny and like my hair. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it possible.I even got a gorgeous style at the end.Thank you Sharron!

I would NOT recommend this hairdressers salon, especially as a student. I had a consultation booked, called ahead to push it back an hour, the lady on the phone said just come whenever you won't need an appointment. Came that day and was sent away. Was stood at reception, no one there, and feeling very unwanted as a student as there was a lot of middle aged people there. Got rescheduled for an appointment the next day. Hairdresser was rude, condescending, and calling my hair damaged repeatedly-despite me trying to take care of it and feeling insecure about it already! Dampened part of my hair to see the elasticity and when it had good elasticity, said something along the lines of that is probably because of whatever oil you've applied to it"

Steph is an absolute diamond! Always has my brows and lashes looking perfect. The salon is always super clean and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a new brow tech in York, I cannot recommend her highly enough

I have finally found a perfect place to cut my curly hair!From the very first minutes I knew I could trust Sharron as she knew exactly what needs to be done! Her attention to detail is incredible. Even though I could say nothing and my hair would be cut beautifully, I was given a lot of space to voice my worries and to share ideas. Full professionalism!And such fabulous interior. I felt rushed and not listened to throughout my appointment here, and am sad to say I wouldn't recommend this salon.I feel as though the picture I brought as a rough guide to what I like has been copied and pasted onto my head, with no thought to my face shape or lifestyle, or what I was trying to say I wanted.I said several times throughout the appointment that I don't style my hair or own heat products, and need something that is low maintenance and will dry for my natural curls, which I haven't got. Yet another haircut that looks great when you leave the salon and rubbish at home. I did ask for tweaks during the appointment as it was being cut to be more like what I wanted, but eventually felt it would be easier to just have it finished and go somewhere else.I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment to start, and half way through my haircut, after a rushed consultation and wash, my hairdresser began to bleach another clients hair, and this is the only salon I've ever been in that didn't offer a head massage during shampooing. It just wasn't the beautiful salon experience I expected after reading their website.I went to work today after my appointment, and over heard one of my patients telling someone she needs a haircut". An 80 year old man thought I needed a haircut the day AFTER seeing the salon director. This was with the blow dry still intact.I must say though
