Superb experience. One to one tuition with everything demonstrated and explained clearly then given the chance to play on the wheel supervised, but left to my own devices and given advice and encouragement along the way.

Alex was very friendly and accommodating. We were the only ones there so we had the class to ourselves. He made sure we were happy with what we were doing always ready to jump in and give a hand if we seemed unsure. 10/10

Two of us spent an enjoyable morning with Alex learning how to throw pots on a wheel. It was great fun and he was very patient with his tuition. We chose a 3 hour slot but I’d perhaps recommend a longer session for a bit more time to decorate the finished pots. We have just received our characterful glazed pots in the post which had been carefully wrapped. I’d love to do it again and would encourage anyone to have a go. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours with my 21 year old and it would definitely make a great gift.

My partner and I loved our three hour pottery experience. Alex was informative and patient with our throwing skills. We are having three pots fired and have taken others home. Having time to make a coil pot and many pots on the potters wheel was brilliant! Highly recommend this experience and hopefully we will return in the near future. Alex, thank you very much!

Absolutely loved the experience, we booked for 3 hours and the time flew by. We managed to make a few pots each and finalised them ready for firing. Can't wait to see the finished product! Alex is a great teacher and incredibly experienced and helpful. Definitely recommend

My children and I had a fabulous morning with Alex expertly tutoring us through making a coil pot and throwing a pot on the wheel. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming and Alex is a patient tutor. This atmosphere ensured our creativity flourished. Our finished pots were sent to us securely packaged. There were squeals of excitement when our finished pots were revealed. The children have displayed them all with pride. Thank you Alex.

Spent a lovely 3 hours making pottery at Alex’s studio. He was friendly, attentive, and a great instructor with a good sense of humour! All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed the session, in particularly creating several pieces on the wheel. Highly recommend.

Alex hosted our group of 12 for a family birthday celebration. He was very kind, patient and professional. We learnt so much in 3 hours and everyone got to throw a pot on the wheel, and make and decorate a coil pot. It was the perfect morning. Don't hesitate to book. We'll return for more tuition if we're ever back in the area

We had my cousins hen do here, what a day it was, Alex was amazing, we took some fizz and nibbles, the wheel was so much fun, Alex was an amazing teacher and was just a pleasure to spend the afternoon there!!
