GAME

Was very busy but the young man that served me was lovely got everything done that I needed, which at this time of year is what you want. And I loved the pink hair of the guy that served me.

Very poor service went to return an item as it was broken took nearly 20 minutes to sort. I spoke to on sale assistant who passed me to a second who then said sorry testing a machine can I sort you out when I'm done. Im like no busy.A time before this I ordered a click and collect at the store went there to collect and the assistant said it's not here and it not our problem take it up with the website after much back and fourth turns out they did have it after all. The manager was very apologetic. But still there service is the worst I've seen in a long time.I've still got take something back hopefully I can get my refund.

Great place. Staff helpful and I always walk away with a game at a good price; often one I wouldn't have chosen myself which I later enjoy. Knocks the socks off the big stores.

I used to use this store all the time but the staff there now are very bad, no clue what they're talking about and tbh just waste people's time. Never heard of the term product availability and really only care about your money. Would never recommend and would advise you stay well clear. Plenty of other shops in town that are in all honesty better.

An amazing little store on Darlington Center. Amazing Customer Service with staff that really know their stuff. Always a pleasure to go into an actual Game store as opposed to the little corners at the back of a Sports Direct store

I went in to trade in my game console to get a different one, whilst I waited for them to check mine was looking at the console I was after. The guy checking mine came over and was extremely helpful about which one to get. Not pushy just honest advice.

It stocked what we needed. Good queueing barriers. Possibly, due to covid, should have had limits to the amount of people in the shop at any one time

Staff are absolutely useless. One of them didn't even know a controllers buttons are supposed to press down. When I went there to get my headset replaced (which I have warranty for any damages) they told me I can't get them replaced because they are damaged. Obviously they're gonna be damaged if I want them replaced??? I'm not gonna try to replace a perfectly fine pair of headphones. Absolutely useless staff.Just reading other reviews made me realise this is probably the worst game shop in the North East. Heard horror stories from this shopNever go here if you want to keep sane.Please

I actually would of given zero stars if I were allowed. We were out on a family shopping trip on Monday 30th August in the Cornmill Centre Darlington. We walked passed the shop Game my 12 year old son looked in as we walked passed but did not go into the shop. The staff came running out demanding my 12 year old go into the shop with them they said their security had went off. It had nothing to do with our son or family who had never been in the shop. My son & wife walked through the security system of course nothing happened as he is not a thief & had never been in the shop my wife demanded to speak to management we were told he was the manager she also demanded they check their cctv to prove our son was never in the shop they checked it & it proved he never went in. We are appalled that staff would act in this manner pulling innocent people into the shop & making out publicly for all to hear they are shop lifting from a shop they have never been in. This has been reported to Game consumer services but they are just as bad & cannot respond to a complaint citizens advice are involved & again they will be reporting it to the relevant people. How dare young arrogant staff treat people in such a manner you should be ashamed of yourselves
