I think it’s safe to say that I’m not a natural model and I thought I would be completely stiff and hopeless, but Rue made me feel completely at ease and got some gorgeous natural shots of me and my boy. The shoot was completely relaxed and worked around my baby’s moods/sleeping - Rue knows exactly how to make a shot work no matter what a young child wants to do!

I got in touch with Rue on a whim looking to have some photos taken of my son and I and I’m so glad I did! The photos are breathtakingly beautiful and exceeded all my expectations. When I received my gallery it brought tears to my eyes. She managed to capture us in our most relaxed form and has the most wonderful talent with light (and working with babies!). She even managed to get our fidgety dog to pose for her which I’m delighted about! The shoot itself was laid back and fun and I wanted to run away with most of the clothes from the client wardrobe. After spending my third pregnancy enduring my husband's questionable photography attempts, I finally wised up and decided to have a professional shoot done. Enter Rue. She didn't just take pictures; she orchestrated a symphony of elegance, emotion and pure artistry whilst creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The only regret? Not discovering Rue sooner and sparing myself from those 'unique' hubby-captured moments.

From the first initial email booking, to meeting up for coffee, to the actual photoshoot itself Rue has felt like someone I have been friends with for a long time. Nothing was awkward or uncomfortable and Rue really made me feel at ease. She made us feel so comfortable whilst taking our photos and it really shows in the final images. The amount of detail in the pictures from the little touches and glances to the laughs and smiles, it has all been captured so perfectly! I can’t recommend booking a photoshoot with Rue enough, it will be something so amazing to look back on and reminisce with!
