Panda Oriental Cuisine

Decided to try this Chinese as it had just newly opened and boy was that a mistake after waiting over an hour for delivery ( understandable because it’s a Friday and must be busy ) the meal was cold. My wife ordered the Prawn curry the prawns were chewy and the sauce was like the Bisto sauce you made yourself and there was no flavour to it at all. I had the honey chilli chicken and never tasted anything like it before in my life the coating to the chicken was all soggy with the little sauce you got and certainly didn’t have any chilli added Long story Short £25 paid to go straight in the bin this is one restaurant that at close of business tonight should remain CLOSED.

I’ve used the panda quite a few times before and I am really disappointed to see the quality has dropped.My special fried rice had what I can only say was a birdseye chicken fillet thing over the top. Bbq sauce was absolutely tasteless, noodles were nice from chicken chowmein but the chicken was dry and over cookedSatay sauce is so nice and smoked shredded chicken is great!

Ordered online quoted 40 mins turned up to collect was told would be another 15 mins returned 20 mins later and was told another 10 mins left without order still waiting for refund

Typical Chinese takeaway, food quality could be compromised when it's busy and delicious when it is less so. They do deliver and usually better standard compared to pick up. We love it's chicken Siam and sweet sour Hong Kong style chicken

Over 2.5hr from the online order to us actually getting the food. Partner waited 1.5hr outside the shop for our order. Pad thai was bland, no flavour at all. Salt & pepper chicken munchy box was way too salty to eat, otherwise it probably would’ve been fine. Only positive thing were the chips that were crispy but then again, too salty to actually enjoy them. Partners chicken curry had ok taste but chicken was chewy, duck in duck fried rice was all fat and shredded chicken with chili had weird after taste. Shame as we were really excited to try a new local take away.

Young lady taking orders was rushed off her feet with no obvious help from the manageress taking some of the orders or the phone orders. Felt really sorry for her. Can't see her wanting to stay there long.The food overall was bland with the chicken balls having little taste. Same with the chips. Other chicken dish had the chicken over cooked and very chewy. Rice was fine. Sauces were tasty.Can't say we'll be rushing back.Big disappointment.

Was put off at first due to some reviews but parents have tried here and said it was great. We tried it - food is well cooked and was ready and waiting for pickup so that's a good start. Unfortunately our prawn crackers had no taste or prawn smell to them whatsoever and the chips were bland so we binned those, likewise spring rolls. Wife was happy with her chicken satay but my chow mein should have had a lot more chicken. Perhaps teething problems due to being new business? Would order again but probably wouldn't be our first choice.

Always use Panda when we’re having a takeaway. Food is always excellent.
