Achari Lounge
Exceptional food and service m. Second time ordering take away and it’s the best around. Used the Shapla for years and would always go to the coriander lounge in Southampton for a sit down… not anymore! Can’t recommend highly enough!

We chose to eat in the restaurant. Can't fault anything! On Mondays there is a menu offer for £12.95 for starter, main, rice/naan and tea/coffee which is very good value! Big portions and tasty food! The staff are very attentive. Clean restaurant. Best curry I've had in the local area in a long time!Definitely recommend, would rate higher than 5* if I could!

They have the best south Asian food in the area and they serve Halal food. This newly opened Indian and Bangaladeshi restaurant is a great place to enjoy your food while having a glass of wine or beer. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. They accept orders over the phone and you have to visit the restaurant to collect your order, you can pay later at the collection. They don’t do deliveries. Vegetarian options and liquor are available.

Was excited to try a new Indian . I don’t eat takeaways hardly ever . Maybe 1-2 a year so this was a treat! Rang and ordered food they answered quickly . Explained to them I was a vegetarian and that I would like just a korma sauce on its own and no chicken just the sauce as I’m a vegetarian.Got to the shop / restaurant it was completely empty .Wasn’t expecting another customer to be in there with his DOG making a food order which was a surprise and a bit disgusting in a food establishment!Anyway picked up the food. Got homeDished dinners up went to eat mine only to feel chicken in my mouth!!!!I spat it out and went through the sauce to find piece of chicken in there which they hadn’t removed !I have been a vegetarian for nearly 6 years and have never experienced this anywhere . I rang and told him. And the reply was ‘ what do you want me to do about it ‘?I asked why had I been served a vegetarian meal with meat in it. He claims it’s cooked separately which I knew was lies because the chicken had been cooked in the sauce and removed as the meat had started to flake.He took the phone into the kitchen and spoke to the chefs. I could hear their conversation. He repeated vegetarian vegetarian.He came back on the phone and said kitchen mistake .I said that wasn’t good enough and I specifically told them I was a vegetarian.He said I give you credit next time you come in for sauce . I politely told him I wouldn’t be returning nor would I eat there again! Awful and disgusting and disappointing meal!Have been advised to report the company

Our dine in experience was great at Achari Lounge. We liked the starters, specially Tikka Panir was very delicious, Chicken dhanshak was good and Garlic Naan was cooked with perfection. Overall, Excellent!

At last Totton has a great Indian restaurant.Three of went on Monday night & chose from banquet menu, it didn’t disappoint. The portion were generous, lots to choose from & all three curries were yummy, we were impressed.Best onion bhajis ever, all finished off with lovely cup of tea or coffee, we left planning our next visit very happy with our meal.Highly recommend

It was our family visit to Achari Lounge. Nice atmosphere and good decoration. We ordered Garlic chicken chilli and chicken Mysore curry from house special menu with Garlic chilli Rice and Cheese and garlic Naan. Food was very nice and very friendly service. We will come again.

Achari Lounge
I cannot give the Achari Lounge enough praise. My first visit here, the food was excellent with a wide choice of vegetarian options. Staff very attentive and friendly, incredible value for money. I will definitely be recommending to everyone and visiting again.
