Blackberry Hill Farm

We had a great experience up had blackberry hill farm. The staff are really friendly and have no problem with children of all ages ( and adults) handling the animals. Our granddaughter is two and half and she had a ball. Our son Stephen loved the snake's the best.Money well spent

I couldn't believe I had never heard of this wee gem of a place located 6 miles from Banbridge.We were booked in for 4pm and it was fantasticThe proprietor was waiting for us and took us to see his horses, ponies and donkeys. Geese were there however they were enclosed due to the bird flu epidemicSome were rescue animals and were in tip-top conditionNext we went to see a calf, lambs , kid goats, piglets, rabbits,chinchillas and guinea pigs and they all had real first names and obviously adored by the lady Mary, who looked after themTo our delight and surprise we were taken in to see bearded dragons, chameleons, lizards, a tarantula and a python. We were allowed to hold several of themSuch a brilliant tour and we're stunned that the hour was upBrilliant place to visit by adults and children alikeI'd thoroughly recommend it

Went as part of open farm weekend... parking was poor, no availability of tea or coffee. Pony ride and able to touch goats and lambs was things good about it. Hope it's better next year.

So many hidden surprises, well worth a visit, especially with young children in the spring. The team were brilliant and knowledgeable about the animals in their care and we had a lovely time!

Thanks Harry and Mary and Mathew. We had a great time at Blackberry Hill farm yesterday. Great to pet and hold so many different types of animal. The kids loved having a chinchilla sitting on their heads, scratching the little pigs belly and holding the boa constrictor. Happy, well cared for animals by friendly knowledge owners. 5/5.

Amazing Experience! Mary and Harry were brilliant, very warm and inviting people. Animals were bright, happy and extremely friendly, loved feeding the baby animals and hearing all about their care. Mathew was an excellent guide through the exotic animals, he was very confident and competent with handing all the exotics plus had a vast knowledge of them. I would 100% return and would highly recommend to everyone. It is very heartwarming to see animals being cared for aswell as Mary and Harry care for their animals.

We went for a day trip to this lovely farm yesterday. We were a little early waiting on the rest of the party but got chatting to the owner and she was lovely to chat to. Very welcoming. The farm itself was amazing and very well thought out and suitable for all ages (even the adults). There was alot of interaction with the animals which the kids loved and such a variety which you wouldn't really find in any other farm. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for such a great morning!!!

This farm is a must see! Such an amazing experience! The owners are the kindest people and so informative about all the animals. This is a hands on experience, you get to hold and pet all the animals. They have everything from your typical farm animal, to exotic birds, guinea pigs, chinchillas, snakes, lizards, etc you name it they have it. We are over visiting from Canada and so happy we got this experience.
