Eilean Donan Apartments

We spent two nights here. The Loch Alsh apartment we stayed in was a large, two story, very spacious place, complete with washer/dryer and a spacious kitchen. We cooked our own food, we were only a five minute walk from the iconic Eilean Donan castle, which was visible from some of the other apartments on the property.

This was the perfect place to stay at while visiting the Eilean Donan Castle and the surrounding areas like Skye. The room was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The mattress was probably the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. The views in the area are incredible as well. April and the rest of the staff were so friendly and we hope to return one day. I would absolutely recommend anyone planning a trip to this area to stay here.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean and kitted out with high quality furnishings. We would definitely book again if needing accommodation in that area.

This is our second stay in the cottage across from the Castle and it has been magnificent, much like the first time.We first stayed here in 2018 and then again in 2023 and we are now planning on when we can come back again. We absolutely love it here.It has a stunning view of the castle and it is amazing to go to sleep looking at the castle and to wake up to it!The staff are all brilliant on sight. We have seen a few weddings this week with a bagpipe player walking the bride and groom across the bridge. Highly recommended! We love it here

My wife and I first stayed at the Apartments 5 years ago for our wedding at the Castle. We've since returned two further times including for our 5th anniversary this week. It is still as wonderfully kept, spacious, cozy and comfortable with the amazing team looking after it as we first found. The views of the landscape and Castle are spectacular.

Stunning apartments equiped with everything you could possibly need for a self catered stay. Loved the Scottish decor and bath products, quality linens and comfy beds. The heated flooring was a luxury after staying in a camper-van for a few weeks! We stayed as part of a wedding party (wedding at Eileen Donan Castle) and April was very kind and accomodating of our needs. Various sized apartments allowed larger groups to stay together and the honeymoon suite was spacious enough for hair and makeup for the bridal party. The castle was a two minute drive and the town hall where the reception was held five minutes walk. Skye is a 20 minute drive. Highly recommend these apartments as a wedding guest venue, luxurious weekend away or a base for exploring the local area.

Beautiful location, rooms were ok. Bedding was like sleeping under a tarp and the shower drain was so slow draining that it would flood out into the bathroom floor. Staff was friend. Just expected more for the amount of money the room cost.Still a lovely place to stay by all means.

Really nice clean apartment but we didn't get the view we wanted. Had to sit outside somebody else's apartment to get the castle views we had specifically gone for. However i fault can't the apartment.

We stayed here in July. It was a last minute booking as a result of our original b&b having to cancel. I am so pleased we stayed here. The apartments are exceptionally well appointed and beautifully cared for and cleaned. The on site manager was friendly and welcoming and very efficient regarding the booking and arrangements for arrival and departure. And the location and views are, of course, amazing. Definitely recommend this spot.

Great place to stay with nice rooms and amazing views. There was amazing hiking nearby and you are very close to the Isle of Skye. For me, staying in a place that was an apartment was much better than a hotel. We were able to cook food which was nice since many restaurants close early and we wanted to hike till dark. If you stay here, the co-op is close for food and there are some delightful bakeries within walking distance for a quick bite in the morning.Highly recommend!!
