Brilliant little museum. Well worth the admission. Very informative at a level and format for adults as well as children. If you only go to one museum, make this the one.

The lady on the reception was lovely and very helpful. A small place so doesn't take long to walk around but well worth the visit and very interesting with lots of useful information.

Hidden villa in a residential area, however no problem to find it because it’s signposted.I visited this one and Brading, congratulations to the staff and thank you for keeping it open for us tourists.

In the middle of Newport residential area you will surprisingly discover this gem of a museum. It is a small Roman house beautifully curated to make your visit really interesting with special interest for kids who have a room for exploring all for themselves. A lot to read for adults interested in the Roman way of life but lots to see too and some unusual tidbits of information and very friendly and helpful staff.

This fascinating place is situated on the outskirts of Newport, Isle of Wight.The remains offer a most interesting insight into Roman history and are in a remarkable state of preservation. Some of the floors still contain remnants of mosaics and there are well written labels giving interesting information about each section of the villa.
