What a lovely place! Local ales, gorgeous cocktails and a fantastic menu! My burger was literally HUGE! The service, both at the bar and at our table, was great. Very attentive and smiley staff. 5 stars all round!

Lovely place for lunch. The staff and food were amazing, definitely recommend this well kept little gem.We all noticed that, although there was music playing in the background, it wasn't loud. We were able to hear and nobody had to shout.We hadn't booked, the place was very busy, but we were given a table, providing we accepted there would be a delay in serving us. I can only say, it was well worth the wait, which wasn't too long.

We came for a sunday lunch as a family of 7. Lovely place. Unfortunately the kitchen had forgotten my food, so there was a slight wait on that. (I really didn't mind, and the waitress was so apologetic) The food was delicious!! We then ordered deserts, and again, the kitchen forgot one of the deserts for our party. Once again, the waitress was very apologetic, but again, it wasn't the end of the world. When asking for the bill, they had removed one main course and a desert. Very lovely gesture. I would return. Thank you.

A beautiful pub with a fantastic set of people working for it. We have been going for the past 2-3 months to every quiz night (Tuesdays every two weeks) and enjoy a delicious pie and a pint (more than one usually). Excellent choices of beer and great atmosphere to enjoy an evening in with your friends and family.

An excellent pub with a great selection of pub classics. The service was friendly and efficient and the food tasted great. If you are driving take into account there are only a handful of spaces and you may need to park down the road.

Great pub food , great atmosphere and impressive cocktails and ale selection . I booked on what was said to be jazz night no jazz so that was a disappointment and dessert options were poor. Overall servers were fantastic and food was great .

We booked very last minute and the host was very accommodating. Superb and friendly service, wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
