Superb pub, barstaff friendly and professional. Great atmosphere. Quality well kept beer. Very clean and very friendly. One of the nicest pubs I've had the pleasure of visiting.

Nice little village pub, tables at the front and rear, covered at the rear if you prefer, excellent service from the chap running the bar when we visited, very friendly.

Beautiful pub with great outside area. Myself and two friends visited between 2-3pm on a Saturday and had the whole back section to ourselves in the sun. Drinks are priced brilliant compared to prices in the centre. The only thing I regret is not asking the name of the man behind the bar who served us as he was so helpful and kind! Will absolutely be back in the near future.. Thank you!! :-)

They sell all sorts of snacks n stuff, beer is the urination....I mean ruination of man!! This is a superb pub and is not short of local characters who display wonderful friendliness and humour, highly recommended.

A really lovely village pub. Great decor, 2 or 3 outside seating areas. A good range of beers and lagers. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is there is no food available.

This is an extremely friendly pub! Over the last year or so ( well, to my knowledge, and perhaps longer) the place has gone under renovation, and is very tastefully decorated. It has a central bar that serves different lounges/nooks/crannies. Comfortable plush seating comprising of fireside chairs/sofas/ occasional chairs/stools etc. Donna, the landlady, is a gem with a big heart. I travel over to The Struggler once a month-ish, for the folk club night, where the floor us open to all, to share music, songs, poems, stories, and dance, of different genres ( it doesn't have to be strictly folk, folks!) Godfrey Birtill heads it up, being a gifted musician, and shares his own writings. This is a community pub, and I'm unable to comment on other events that take place here, as I've only been to the folk nights, but you can be sure of a friendly welcome. The next folk night is gonna be Carol singing night, oh and on the 25th November they're having a table top sale, but I don't know the full details! Eagle is a very small village, out in the sticks of Lincoln. Try it sometime! I've given it a four star, and would like to give it five.....cos, as yet, they don't serve tea, but a coffee machine is on its way soon.... to be continued ...

After a long walk in the Lincoln countryside we had 2 of the best pints of harvest gold from castle brewery. Seems like a top place. Can only review on the basis of 2 pints but if I'm near again I would definitely go again. Nice place lots of outdoor seating.
