Portchester House - Student Accommodation, London
I moved to Portchester House a month ago, and I have been having a great time since then. The area is extremely well connected to every other part of Central London, and having a Sainsbury store next door is great for grocery shopping. I found my apartment in perfect condition, and a minor issue was quickly fixed. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient; it is really a pleasure to have them here. Last week, the team also organized a Welcome event with pizza and drinks. It was a great way to have fun while meeting my neighbors. I really recommend this accommodation to everyone!

I've had a great time living at the Portchester House! The location is very convenient as the building is located near the tube station and there is a Sainsbury’s right next to the building. Besides, The team Wilson, Skye, and Kristy are always very helpful and friendly during my time here . I highly recommend students to stay in this student accommodation!

Staffs here are sooo friendly and nice. Kristy, Skye, Wilson always help me to solve problems in the first place. If the problems cannot be solved immediately, they will also keep contacting me so I know the situations.

The receptionist was super nice and helped me print some very urgent documents for free, and usually solved many of my life problems. It was very reassuring to stay here.

I have had a wonderful experience at Portchester House. The concierge staff Wilson and Skye are very friendly and have gone above and beyond when I’ve had any enquiries or issues. The security are also friendly and extremely helpful. The buildings communal areas are always kept extremely clean and tidy and the residents are all very respectful of one another. The building is also right next to many supermarkets and bus / underground stations. I would definitely recommend students to stay here!

When looking to rent a flat here, I was heavily discriminated against as I would be bringing an assistance dog with me as I have a need for one. They repeatedly denied me housing because of this. I would not recommend.Follow Up:After explaining the laws, and how I am protected under the Equality Act 2010, they continue to deny me because they believe ve I do not have a disability and a need for an assistance dog. I also recommend, that if you are an international student to not live here. They talk down to me any time I am on the phone or through email.

I had an extremely unpleasant living experience. The staff said there was an urgent water leakage downstairs and insisted on entering my room for inspection. Since my room was not very tidy, I agreed with the staff to come back tomorrow, and they agreed. Then the property manager came, demanding I open the door with a very aggressive attitude. I only opened the door slightly, but she forcefully pushed it wide open. Why should you enter whenever you want? I can understand if the apartment needs inspection; just send an email and specify the time, and I can accept that. Even if you notify me an hour before coming to check an hour later, I can understand and accept it. What right do you have to demand that I open the door immediately? Imagine if I’m not in the room; if you use a spare key to open the door, who guarantees the security of my property inside? I’ve seen numerous cases of financial losses in student apartments, and if you enter, will you send me an email afterwards stating that you entered the room earlier? Plus the downstairs water leakage issue has occurred more than once. I’ve been harassed numerous times due to this matter. A month ago, there was a water leakage incident, and they requested entry into my room for inspection. I willingly agreed, and since then, they have been coming into my room almost every day, conducting inspections and using dyes tests to determine if the water leakage is from my unit. Recently, due to academic matters, I’ve been feeling down. If I come across as intense in our communication, please remind me. I might not be aware, but I need a reasonable explanation. On a side note, when I’m at home, my parents cannot be allowed to enter my room without my permission.

Excellent service from the team over at Portchester House. My sister is moving here this September as it's walking distance from LSBU and Sainsbury's on the main road, I'm really looking forward to being invited back to the lovely Sky Lounge for a pool session thank you again Wilson for supporting us with her booking.

I had an absolute great time living here for the past year. The staff is very friendly and helpful. From the maintenance team to the security team to the receptionists, every one is very responsive and helpful when issues arise. My studio was in good and clean conditions when I moved in, and is the perfect size for me (with en-suite bathroom and kitchen). The house is also very near to many public transportations (underground and many buses route) since it is located at the main road. There are also parks, restaurants and grocery stores (there is a huge Sainsbury very nearby). I could not recommend Portchester House enough. ☺️
