I had my worktop done in October 2023, and I am extremely happy with the results. Darryl was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. He was quick to respond to my inquiry, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and took precise measurements. The price was reasonable, and the workmanship was excellent. The outcome was exactly as promised, and I would definitely recommend to others.

We were recommended Sheffield solid surfaces from our kitchen fitter and we have been completely blown away by the service. Daryl and Teegan were so helpful and patient talking through ideas before we went ahead with our decision. The measuring service is extremely thorough and thought through, and during the installation when we wanted a small change, they could not have been more accommodating and understanding. Love my new Staron kitchen worktop. Darryl and Teegan provided clear quotes at the start to help me pick something at the right price point. From walking into the showroom and picking some samples to it being templated and fitted was just over 3 weeks. Great service throughout. Would highly recommend, especially over the big name diy stores.

I was recommended to Sheffield Solid Surfaces after a lengthy search for the right worktops to compliment our new kitchen. These guys have been exceptional from start to finish, from the attentative and informative product overviews, the carefull and thorough template measuring using traditional methods for accuracy to the expert craftsmanship in the fitting process. Darryl and his team literaly couldn't have been more helpful. We chose the Corian surface and the results have blown us away!

Sheffield Solid Surfaces & Kitchens Ltd was suggested to us by the suppliers of the product we wanted to use for our worktop. Not knowing anyone who’d had their kitchen fitted by the company, and given they’d only used the material once before, I was a little nervous. There was no need; Darryl and his team have been fabulous and the process from order to fit has been almost as seamless as our beautiful new worktop!One appointment was rescheduled at short notice and another not removed from the diary, but I haven't deducted a star because of good communication and patience at their end with multiple delays on ours!Teegan was always quick to respond to queries and clarify confusions, including taking and sending me photos when I needed a little visual assistance. The chaps who attended to template and fit were friendly and efficient and our Durat worktop is stunning. The finish is better than I’d imagined and has set the standard for completing the rest of the house.Thanks, all!

We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen renovation. From our visit to the fabulous showroom to fitting, the whole process has been amazing and at a very competitive price point. Daryl and Chris were very helpful and during the fitting process Chris’ attention to detail is second to none. We changed the brief slightly but nothing was too much trouble and a small problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have already recommended SSS to my friend and family. When id finally decided to get my kitchen done I went down the high end route looking a places wanting to charge £35,000 plus for a full kitchen redesign, after realising this was way more than I was prepared to pay for the plans id been given I looked at going through the likes of Howdens, stumbled upon Sheffield Solid Surfaces due to thinking I was being ripped off from the Howdens recommended worktop company, decided to give Sheffield Solid Surfaces a call and was greeted by Teegan who straight away wanted the plans for the previous quote id had & honestly within 2 minutes I could tell she knew her stuff about worktops and by chance had mentioned that they had started doing kitchens so I sent over my Howdens plans and within a few hours Chris had redesigned the kitchen doing things Howdens couldn't possibly do like floor to ceiling units & squeezing my two ovens side by side underneath a structural beam running through the kitchen honestly I was blown away. Ill be honest here I was expecting to negotiate the price but it came in around the same price as Howdens but the amount I saved on the worktop was incredible. the fact you can go to Sheffield Solid Surfaces and they take care of everything for you from start to finish is worth its weight in gold. one final point I will leave you with is that Darryl is an absolute gentleman from start to finish, with that being said I do not believe there is anyone in the uk right now that could do the things he can with worktops he's a genius and perfectionist saw my window sill was made of wood so he took it out and ran the backsplash of my quartz worktop all the way up and made the window sill out of quartz aswell, if your struggling to decide who to go with then look no further ill be back for my media wall asap. ive put some photos up but this is 1 year ago now the kitchen has been in and not faulted once. get these guys booked in you wont regret it.

We recently had a new kitchen installed and wanted a solid worktop. We were recommended to contact Sheffield Solid Surfaces so we visited their showroom and so glad we did. Darryl was so helpful explaining the different types of material and options for edge styles etc. The whole process from quote to installation was done to the agreed timescales and carried out by friendly skilled staff. Our worktops really give our new kitchen the high quality finish we were looking for and we would really recommend that you contact them if you have a similar requirement. Something that we weren’t aware of when we visited was that they also do their own range of complete kitchen installations which we would have been very interested in if we had known when we started planning our kitchen. We were really impressed with the showroom on Stevenson Road, we had visited quite a few showrooms but this one was excellent, lots of different options available and we were made to feel very welcome.Chris came to measure our kitchen and utility room and was very professional and really helpful regarding the designs of both rooms to meet our needs. We spent some time at Stevenson Road deciding on choice and colour of units and work surfaces. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a really good experience.Fitting went smoothly John and Rob were superb, they were a pleasure to deal with and once again nothing was too much trouble, we even changed one of the cabinet choices half way through the build. Kevin was also a credit to the company when he came to fit the work surface. Again, nothing was too much trouble.The end result is a fantastic kitchen and utility that we are so very pleased with and is a pleasure to cook in. We are so very glad that we chose Sheffield Solid Surfaces they are in our opinion the best.If you are thinking of a new kitchen, do not hesitate to visit them or get in touch.
