Post Office Heywood

Went on Monday to get gas topped up stood in line woman in front got served so then went to be served at same counter only for the younger man behind the counter to only snap back I’m not serving. So then waited for next counter to open up went there the system was down not a problem it wasn’t the girls faultFast forward 24hours went to get served by the same young man that had snapped at me previously I had letter from BG and it says I only needed one form of Identification I had provided drivers license old paper type but still valid and with my name and address my passport and other identification (none of this was good enough for him)with my photo on and then he said this top ups only for electric it even says on the letter take your gas smart card to the post office, absolutely useless whoever is training him up if he didn’t want to do it just say so ended up going to Middleton post office and didn’t have a problem and I even got a smile from them if I could give no stars I wouldLooks like when the post office moved they didn’t keep the previous good staff on

Very rude and un professional behaviour from staff, I asked a question and he flared up infront of my children, shouting raising his voice( tone) telling me I should not tell him what to do, what an attitude to have.The young guy with beard and wears glasses in counter 5 need more training to deal with customers.

Do everything you can to avoid this place. Disgraceful, unprofessional staff. Their attitude is astounding and they’ll do everything they can not to help you. Garbage service.

Unprofessional post officer is working there who doesn't know what is valid date and issue date on Driver's License.when I try to explain him he refused to understand and did not serve. Because they unprofessional so there very slow as well it took me 15 mins in the queue. Heywood people deserve some professional people at post office so they can avoid undue queues. There is always long queues cause of unprofessional people.

Pathetic service. Sent my important documents but entered wrong address.Which then made a big hassle for me to change it . And for that I had to pay for another delivery to get it all fixed. The team didn’t even accepted its their fault. They made me pay again to send back my documents to get it all fixed. Long queues always. Take to long to serve.

Don't pay for next day guaranteed delivery, takes them 3 days to send the item!

Unfortunately, every time I go, there only seems to be one person serving with the other tills having staff behind but are closed. This usually means the queue is near the door and takes a long time. When you eventually get to an open post office till, the service is good. I have to avoid using the post office because I can't stand for any length of time without being in a lot of pain and as is the case everywhere, there is nowhere to sit down.

They have increased the services that they offer.They offer services from Evri, Amazon and DPD as well currency MoneyGram and Western Union. You can also do your personal and business banking there too including a change giving service
