Always a nice friendly pub with good selection of beers,food and outside seating. Your first Port of call when getting into Whitstable... i should know, i live here. Lovely staff and sky sports too.

This is a Lovely, traditional pub with friendly staff, a warm crowd, good pints and a cheap and cheerful food menu. It has a beautiful beer garden section... a pool table... darts.... it's a gem.

was visiting the area and looking for somewhere to have a nice drink, and heard horrendously racist comments coming from the bar area. obviously, unable to say if it was staff or customers but certainly was not going to stay.edit: wow. real mature response. so happy to see the worries about hate filled language have been completely eradicated.

If you're looking for a proper pub (and trust me, there's not many left in Whitstable) then you'll do a lot worse than this. Just outside the town centre means it's not a busy place but it still has a good vibe.

Friendly, proper pub. Darts and pool. Superb garden, nice selection of beers. Worth a call on the way home if visiting for a day.

I'm rating this pub as I like the name.My wife and I didn't actually go in, we stopped to do a birthday video for a friend by the sign.But this tracking system called Google wants a rating.So, as I spoke to a seemingly very happy customer outsideI'll say amazing.
