After failing my exam twice whilst with 4wheels, I took up a recommendation to use Pass Direct instructor, Dave. I found him to be a reliable and honest instructor whose focus was on getting me ready for my test. I passed after two months of lessons with only 1 minor!Very satisfied with the instructor, the price and the outcome! Will certainly recommend him to others.

Before driving with Kevin from pass direct id had other instructors with whom i had taken test's under. After no success and not feeling confident in my driving i stop learning for over a year. In Feb 2013 i decided to learn again and was put in touch with Kevin. With a theory test expiring in june 2013 i had little confidence that i would pass before it expired. On my first lesson Kevin instantly put me at ease and made me feel comfortable in my learning. No question was a silly one and his approach to teaching was that of a friendly, patient one. He makes sure his learners are equipped with the knowledge of knowing how the car works in a digestible way which in turn rectifies mistakes within your driving.Kevin never cancelled a lesson and was always on time to the minute, with helpful reminders being sent the day before your lesson.Kevin built my confidence and in turn i did pass before my theory test expired. I felt my driving skills improve from lesson to lesson and never felt any were a waste. Kevin was always very honest and encouragingIf Kevin was my initial instructor when i began learning i would not have stopped and encourage any nervous/ not confident learners to start their lessons with Kevin. He is very understanding, approachable and was almost as excited as i was when i passed :-). He is a brilliant teacher and one of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure to meet.

Kevin is an excellent driving instructor! Kevin is extremely helpful and patient and makes you feel comfortable while taking your lessons. I am very pleased with the driving school and happy with the way Kevin teaches, he’s is truthful and has faith in everyone! I have been learnt so many different techniques by Kevin so if anyone is looking for driving instructor I highly recommend! Always texts the day before to remind me of my lesson and since working all different shifts he manages to work around me, which i highly appreciate! Great prices, great instructor!

I am not a natural driver!! I am nervous and have been learning for a long time with a lot of different instructors. I came across the intensive driving course online and was impressed by the price and the nature of the instruction and so went for it. My instructor David, was brilliant, within a short time I was exposed to all aspects of driving, there was none of the sitting around talking about it that I had come to see as the staple of instruction, but instead was thrown straight in and improved drastically. I am now a proud holder of a full license and would highly recommend anyone to use Pass Direct in future, ask for David!. Thank you!

Dave has been a fantastic driving instructor! I recently passed my test after starting having driving lessons in January this year. Dave has always encouraged me during lessons and I have enjoyed having him as an instructor. He doesnt sit you at the side of the road for an endless amount of time, talking you through how to drive, but instead lets you spend your time actually driving. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone who wants to learn to drive as I and a significant number of my family members and friends, have passed their driving tests with pass direct.

Kevin is an excellent instructor and helped me pass my driving test. I'm very pleased with the driving school and Kevin's style of teaching, he taught me all the necessary techniques to pass my test. I would most definitely recommend!

DAVID IS A THIEFWow, I am utterly disappointed and never imagined I would be taken advantage of- robbed in broad daylight. If only I had seen Mark Jones’ review before calling PassDirect and arranging lessons with David- it would’ve saved me A LOT OF MONEY AND TIME. I’d say I would’ve been better off not having any lessons at all than the lessons I had with David- didn’t even teach me the BARE MINIMUM. Initially, after reading all of the good reviews I believed that David was a trustworthy, genuine person. I’m convinced the Dave mentioned in the positive reviews must be a different person.After having 5 months of lessons with him I still cannot park to this day. I believed I needed more lessons to boost my confidence, as a result I was taken advantage of in broad daylight. Whenever I asked to practise parking manoeuvres he would only allow me to do so for 10-20 mins out of the whole two hour lessons (which happened rarely, once in a blue moon). It didn’t take me long to learn how to confidently drive, and yet he was making me drive from A to Z without even teaching me how to park.I only realised he was just taking my money after I called him to find out he won’t be teaching anymore- I realised how far behind I am, having made ZERO progress. I cannot imagine how much longer it would’ve taken me to realise how money-hungry he was if he was still teaching. I should’ve known something was wrong when he’d spend most of the time talking about his personal life and make unsolicited & micro-aggressive comments instead of teaching me manoeuvres.Most people I know have had far less hours of learning than me and already did their driving tests ages ago, and here I am at same level as someone who has only had a few hours. I also discovered not long ago that someone I know also had David as their instructor- I guess that explains their bad parking skills. I can’t believe I had 70 hours of lessons and was never taught how to park properly at all.What a way to take advantage of the fact that people are desperate as instructors are scarce due to the pandemic. I never thought something like this would happen to me, and it just goes to show that the quality of reviews really outshines the quantity of them.Not sure if David was just a bad instructor because he knew he wanted to change jobs or if it was just because he is PURELY GREEDY. He knew long ago he was changing jobs (which I was unaware of at the time) and failed to tell me future lessons were cancelled due to this- I had to call him to find out as he didn’t respond to a text message.All I can say is, thank goodness (and GOOD RIDDANCE) he’s not teaching anymore otherwise I can’t imagine how many other people’s pockets he would’ve emptied and left unskilled. I must say he did me a favour- if he was still “teaching” me to this day, my wallet would’ve been dry by now. Almost £2000 gone down the drain for nothing. If you’re that DESPERATE for money AT LEAST provide a service that is WORTH PAYING FOR. I can only hope that when I find another instructor, they’ll be honest and transparent- not just looking for free money. Such a shame zero stars isn’t an option.

I started and ended my learning experience under the guidance of my driving instructor, Dave.In my experience, he was excellent at his job. He made sure I knew every important aspect about driving both on the road and off the road. It didn't really help matters that I was quite nervous when I first started out as I would stall quite a few times, and speed without realizing. Not good at all. However this was just a minor phase, as the more lessons I took the better and more confident I became in my driving.Dave taught me general practices in driving that made difficult scenarios easier to manage through simple steps. Some of those were blatant, such as waiting two car-lengths behind a stationary vehicle while letting drivers with priority pass. I would hesitate and get nervous, and the outcome would see me, more or less, kissing the rear of the stationary vehicle rather than being well away from it.Even though my nerves would get the best of me most days, Dave kept his patience and repeated, time after time (quite a few times actually), the same guidelines to make sure it all sunk into my stubborn way of driving.And the ultimate outcome ended up with me passing my practical driving test on the first time of trying - albeit including 5 minors. It wasn't a perfect run, but the pressure I felt during it was immense! I kept calm and repeated the guidelines in my head, as they were more or less lodged in there, and BOOM... I passed!I would highly recommend this driving school, and my instructor Dave, to anyone. Especially people who have trouble dealing with there nerves as this will not be a problem for you passing if you have these guys to guide you.

My driving instructor was Kevin, couldn’t ask for a better instructor, id had driving lessons with 3 other schools/instructors before having my lessons with pass direct and I cannot recommend enough! Cannot recommend Kevin enough either, was an amazing instructor, had so much patience and support and I passed my driving test within no time with him. Great prices, great driving school with great instructors.
