Brownhill Arms
Hadn't visited the Brownhill Arms since Revidge Run days!! Really nice surprise to see how lovely it looks inside. Staff were all really friendly, competitive prices, and an added bonus was being able to sit outside because the sun was shining!

We attended this local pub catering for a local funeral. The food was plentiful and really nice. The drinks were very well-priced and the Landlady was a good host.

Fantastic pub, couple who run the place are excellent, lovely friendly staff, who have already got my drinks round down pat ( San Miguel and a dry white wine),. Just seen a review by a Beckie Power awful review, now everybody is entitled to their opinion, but if what you say is true why is the establishment this busy.

A Thwaites pub with no cask ale when I visited in December. Seems odd. However, pub was reasonably busy and alternative drinks were found but a huge disappointment not to just have one at least

I had not been in the Brownhill for years. Probably because it was a bit of a dump. What a shock when I went in there recently. It was clean, fresh, welcoming and all the staff are so friendly. I have been back there a few times in the past 3 weeks and I can honestly say it is now my favourite pub.

I really liked this place. Plenty of space and a good set of magazines etc if you want a read with a pint. Sports Tv if you want it and a pool table. The don't take cards though so can only, there is a cash machine around the corner two minutes. Quite big Gin selection.

They do a very good quiz on Thursday nights with an excellent buffet for participants. Friendly & competent staff make this a welcoming place to come.

Lovely staff,cheerful and friendly. The pub welcomes dogs and gives treats and water. The customers are welcoming and chatty if you want to join in. I feel safe and secure going in on my own.

Excellent family Pub. Landlord and Landlady are perfect hosts, take time to get to know you. Bar staff are friendly and quick to serve. Brilliant quiz on a Thursday night. Friendly locals make everyone welcome. What's not to like.
