Great camera and accessories shop. Staff very knowledgeable about all the products they sell. Get your hands on the camera you fancy with the lens you want and see what it feels like. Staff always very helpful nothing seems to be to much for them to keep you the customer happy. The way it used to be years ago.

Most of the staff in the shop are great and knowledgeable, but the Nikon rep (Dave) is useless. Couldn't answer any of my questions about the Nikon app and generally had the demeanor that he doesn't care. I've been in twice and had the same experience with him both times.

Went in to buy just a plain old uv filter and was greeted by a lovely smile and a polite inquiry as to my welfare and the purpose of my visit. I was dealt with in an efficient manner and made to feel relaxed and comfortable. The young man was able to advise me properly and made some very helpful suggestions. In the end I was so enthused by my experience I didn't by a filter, I bought two!This is how you retail. Excellent.

Brilliant customer service! Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful, absolutely made my evening. We popped in to make visa pictures for my newborn and everyone(especially Amy, Kenneth,Martin, Allen and manager Tim) did their best to make me feel welcome. They assisted me with Xmas photo cards abd other gifts too.

Pretty good selection in here, not the most reasonable pricing especially on accessories such as SD cards but at least they have most of the camera stock you could want. I don't often visit because each time I do, I'm approached by at least 3 sales staff in consecutive order who ask if I require help. Really feels like a hard sell and it just makes me want to walk straight out again.

The store much improved since renovation in June 2017. Open space layout, self service printing machines, area for kids to get busy. Good choice for gifts, frames and cameras.

I recently bought a canon 50mm prime lens, once I got it home after a few shots on my kit realised it wasn't the lens for me, it was slow to focus, loud and offered no improvement over my existing 18-50mm sigma lens. When I returned it, in what was perfect condition and being honest with the sales assistant they refused to process a refund claiming that it had been used. It was in perfect saleable condition. Had I known that they were so strict with their return policy I would've purchased it elsewhere. I now have a lens that I don't like or intend to use.There are many other camera and lens suppliers on the market with more flexible returns policies, so based on my experience i will never buy kit or lenses from Jessops again nor can I recommend them.Buyers beware.

Develop film yes, scans NO.Had the lab develop and scan a few rolls of 35mm and 120mm, the colour and resolution on the images were good. However there were scanner lines across almost every single image as well as dirt/hair/dust ALL OVER every scan.Also lots of shots scanned twice, making me think it was all a bit rushed!Wouldn’t normally leave a review, but couldn’t get through to anyone on the number provided and there is no email contact available?

In short: barely any better than buying online and expect a hard sell on extras.My visit was a weekday lunchtime but there was a member of staff available to help (which is good). I explained what I was looking for and was pretty quickly was pointed at the product I had initially suggested (I had done my research so I was pretty sure what was correct for me). I rang to ask about printing a photo as a gift and I also needed a frame, Harry answered the phone and was very efficient and pleasant. I went into the store that afternoon (I travelled all the way from Warrington). I was greeted by Harry and he remembered our earlier conversation. He was so helpful and did everything for me, the photo was great quality and I found a lovely frame. Harry even put the photo in the frame and put some foam wrapping around it so that it was secure and protected. The customer service, knowledge and helpfulness was definitely 5 star, I would use their services again.
