Beautiful experience. Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely Maria. She was incredibly warm and welcoming and offered me water whilst she finished preparing the room. Jivita Ayurveda is a very calming and peaceful environment. I felt my shoulders drop the minute I arrived. The treatment room was lovely and warm and comfortable. Maria took great care of me and the treatment was wonderful. I would have given five stars however I was disturbed several times by some type of audible sound/alert on Maria's phone. I also expected more time to be spent massaging my scalp since it was an Indian Head Massage. The majority of the time was spent on my collarbone/shoulder area. Nevertheless, it was great and I felt super relaxed, peaceful and calm. I floated out of the studio.Thank you Maria.

I had the full body massage with Anu and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. I felt she was really listening to my body and what it needed, and every part of me feels renewed and cared for. I will definitely be going back!

I have had several treatments from Anu from a few years ago and I have 100% trust on her for her knowledge, high skills and quality. I had a facial this time and I don’t feel like to go anywhere else as I like natural and traditional styles using a great and quality products on my skin. Thank you and will come back again. Highly recommend her and this place.

I've had many massages over the years, by various practitioners. Some of have been wonderful, some average & some terrible. But even the masseurs of the terrible massages never treated me the way Jivita’s owner, Anu did.Amongst the poor body boundaries, negligence and dehumanising treatment, I can confidently say this woman is in the wrong line of work. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I was quickly ushered out of the shop (which is the entrance to the building), Anu was particularly cold, impersonal & avoidant. She wouldn’t look at me & barely spoke to me.I was first greeted by another employee who wordlessly handed me a tablet & walked away. Eventually I understood I was meant to fill out a lengthy questionnaire on the tablet. Under normal circumstances, this would be fine. However, just having the tablet shoved in my hands was strange & I was not informed beforehand that there would be a lengthy form, which takes several minutes - if you do not arrive early to complete it, your massage time will decrease. Not to mention the whole thing was moot, since Anu barely glanced at the form & did not know what I had written in it.She did not even apprise herself of my allergies, which she both ignored from the form & did not ask me about. It was only once I was undressed on the table & she was about to begin that I enquired with her about substances used, as I have an allergy to a commonly used substance. Her response was surprise at my allergy - proving she hadn’t even read that part of the form when she’d glanced at it for all of 5 seconds. Not enquiring about allergies is a seriously dangerous practice. There were also really uncomfortable boundary issues. When I was undressing, Anu returned rather quickly and didn’t even knock before entering. Knocking is basic respect for a person's privacy and body.Further to poor boundaries, Anu massaged parts of my body that are not commonly massaged, without asking for consent. Maybe it’s part of traditional Ayurvedic massage, but she did know I’d never had specifically an Ayurvedic massage & either way, a practitioner would know that these are uncommon areas &would ask beforehand if these areas are ok, or at the very least if there were any areas the client didn’t want massaged. She massaged my entire buttocks, excluding only the very center; my stomach; the center of my chest & my breasts. There was a thinly folded hand towel placed over my breasts while she massaged these front parts but it was pointless because she moved around quickly &abruptly, with no care to maintain coverage. My breasts were completely exposed the whole time she did these areas. Her total movements were clumsy & heavy, i.e. stomping as she moved around the massage table. In general, when someone moves like this, it indicates they are not grounded or centered. For a massage therapist to be stomping around During a massage indicates this fact to a higher degree. This isn’t a person you want rubbing your nude body in the name of “healing.”God forbid anyone would have an emotional release during a massage with her, as she is not a safe person to hold space for it.Afterward, she continued to avoid speaking to me. To the extent that she didn’t even advise me to drink plenty of water (let alone offer any afterward), which is crucial after a massage because your body releases toxins. Again, every massage therapist I’ve been to has given this instruction &offered water, even when I come with my own water bottle. This is for health & is basic courtesy.I was interested in the products for sale in her shop, but while I was looking at them after the massage, she physically ushered me out of the front door - it’s not as if they were about to close. It seemed to be so she could further avoid speaking to me, as I’d tried to casually engage with her after the massage (she was basically mute post-massage).All in all, I strongly caution anyone who values their boundaries & respects themselves against submitting themselves to Anu's (mis)treatment or supporting her business.

I had my first massage with Maria this week and immediately booked again! She’s wonderful! She immediately understood what I needed and I know I’ll benefit enormously from seeing her on a regular basis for a while. It also helps that the space is warm and welcoming. I felt immediately relaxed.

I hardly ever write reviews, but my massage last week was amazing and I left feeling great. Tilda is a fantastic practitioner and I only wish I lived in London so I could go more often. HIGHLY recommend!

I had a great full body massage with Anu yesterday. The atmosphere of the place, including the small treatment room, was calm and comfortable. Anu’s quiet expertise made me confident of a good experience, and so it proved. Stubborn tensions were eased and I walked home floating on air, feeling deeply relaxed and buoyant. I’m sure my hair also benefitted from Anu’s generous use of wonderful oils. I can also recommend the cucumber and melon drink from the juice bar.
