It's nice. So we went here for the pub and it looked nice. The outside garden/field was nice but lacked bins and more tables. Bouncy castle nice touch and dog friendly. The view was nice and in great weather good. I felt they could do like an outside bar in that field when the weather good. Long walk back to pub. The bar itself layout bit odd you kinda feel like your walking into the wrong area when you walk in. Their isent any clear que . Feels like it needs a revamp but I get its likely a listed building. The walking in and out I just felt I was intruding on people's tables. I can't describe it. I feel the entrance and exit needs a new layout/look the little bubbles to eat in looked cool

Although in nice location, pub inside in need of little updating. Food good with lots of 'traditional' choices. Each table has a button you can press for someone to come over and take your order which is a great idea, and all went well until we finished our desserts and the dishes were cleared.Instead of being asked if we would like anything else.... perhaps a coffee, we were asked if we wanted to pay the bill, which was then instantly brought over. Had the dining room been busy and people been waiting for tables, we could have perhaps excused the swiftness of it's arrival, but there were lots of empty spaces, so this was clearly not the case.Once the bill had been handed over there was no time to look through it as usually happens anywhere else, asthe waitress then proceeded to stand and wait for payment! On this occasion we had already decided to pay cash, which she watched us count out, and then before taking it to the bar asked if she needed to return any change back to the table!!!Normally we wouldn't dream of not leaving a tip for staff wherever we go, and had the change just been returned back to the table, we wouldn't have hesitated to leave that and probably more, but to be almost pushed out of the door and then the expectation of the waitress for the money to be just kept, on principle we decided we would not on this occasion and perhaps staff should be given more training on how to treat their customers!

I recently visited The Raddle for a couple of drinks, and I must say, it was a memorable experience! The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and lively atmosphere that set the perfect mood for a relaxed evening. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring prompt service throughout my visit. The pub had a great selection of drinks to choose from, catering to various preferences. The Raddle's attention to detail in presentation and taste truly impressed me.Additionally, the pub had a great selection of tasty appetizers to accompany the drinks.

Country Inn and restaurant with a fantastic position overlooking lovely countryside. Booked a short break in November in one of the log cabins where you can soak in a hot tub enjoying the views. Accommodation is basic but fine. All the staff are very welcoming and the pub and cabins are dog friendly. Pub serves hearty meals at good prices and especially recommended is the great value breakfast which you order the day before. Pub has extensive gardens which would be a great place to eat and drink in summer.

Roads are tight on travelling to The Raddle Inn but once their the sights were beautiful. We stayed in one of the log cabins which was lovely , everything we needed, we just found there needed to be more lighting outdoors at night. The service and food were absolutely amazing, piping hot and big portions, very tasty food. Deffinately recommend and will stay and visit again. Thank You.

Roads to the pub are very tight with blind bends so careful driving is a must. Once there however terrific food and great portion size. Steak pie followed by proper apple crumble and custard. No pretentious fancy stuff just excellent home cooked food (served on plates!!) With friendly helpful service

Fantastic little find. Myself and my family were staying over at Alton towers and didn’t fancy the resort restaurants so drove 15mins away to the Raddle Inn. The food was all home cooked and delicious, with large portions and very reasonable prices. The young ladies serving the food were friendly and professional and the whole place had such a welcoming feeling. The games room was a real hit with the teenagers and we all had an enjoyable time. Thank you.
