Well Pharmacy

Sadly I have to agree with most of the other reviews; this Pharmacy continues to go downhill. They have not opened on a Saturday since Dec 2022 and now it is becoming increasingly common to arrive and find them closed for periods of time, there is always a note on the door but that's too bad when you've just made the effort to get there! How about a text to all customers giving this info before it happens? They appear understaffed with no regular pharmacist.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful reception staff. FYI - your customers can hear you while you’re on the phone slagging them off. Please learn some compassion and go on a customer service course.

Visit regularly to pick up medication - unfortunately always a poor experience.Service is slow and staff are often rude and blame customers for mistakes they haven't caused. Most orders are no longer packed on site meaning medication can often take a long time to arrive (especially when they forget to tell you it's ready...)Was also referred to this pharmacy by 111 on one occasion - when visiting the pharmacy had no knowledge of the referral, despite showing proof that 111 had sent it through to them.

I cant put my finger on why this pharmacy is so poor. Either the staff just dont care or they lack support/training or the right levels of staffing. The staff are generally friendly and polite thoughThere always seems to be a wait for service and the shop is disorganised and littered with empty stock packaging or deliveries. Whilst waiting today I was shocked at the amount of dust on the shelves.This is my nearest pharmacy but its time to move on, a slightly longer journey should deliver better service.

This is the most unhelpful pharmacy I have come across. The current staffs are not as efficient as the previous staffs. All they can offer you is Sorry

This pharmacy is useless.The staff are incompetent. When you ask to collect a prescription they look at you as if you’re from another planet. “Prescription? Huh? What’s this ‘prescription’ word that you speak of?”.Then they’ll go to look for said prescription as if it’s nestled deep in the Amazonian jungle beneath a pile of rattlesnakes guarded by a three headed dog. When they finally emerge from ‘the back’ 15 minutes later, they’ll ask you again for your details, and then take another 10 minutes trying to locate it, as if actually no, it’s not in the Amazon, it must be buried with Tutankhamen.It seems something as so simple as finding a prescription requires a masters degree in quantum physics if you’re a member of the Well Pharmacy team. Honestly it’s so frustrating, every time we visit here it’s like it’s their first day on the job.Quite often they’ll lose prescriptions or won’t have made it up for you in advance. You’ll be waiting for flipping ages while they make it up. What just baffles me as mentioned is how they are so confused by such simple asks. They make Peter Griffin look like Albert Einstein!

Greeted by an extremely rude woman at the desk, was laughed at when i asked to speak to someone about an illness. Felt uncomfortable, staff were rude to all other customers in the shop at the time aswell. Wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1. Don’t go there. Do not recommend.

1.10.21. Finally told this horrendous place where to go. Nasty vile mouth woman on the phone to me, has been reported to authorities as has the pharmacy. No meds at all arrived, they told me lies lies and more lies. PLEASE DONT GO HERE.3 months after this, in fact it's hard to believe but it's worse than ever. I am sat here 10.8.21, 8 medications down. No methotrexate, no Tramadol, no FURUSIMIDE no paracetamol, it's an absolute disgrace. Tomorrow I am going to report them ,again I hope they lose their licence. They are totally incapable.If I could score less, I would. Please don't go here, unless you want the wrong meds, late meds, somebody else's meds. I now do my own trays because I don't trust them anymore. My very, very important meds that I can't just stop, don't arrive, blood test or not. I have been 10 days without 4 meds, shouting, threatening, nothing. I have reported them again for the 3rd time, to the pharmacy complaints centre.I only get meds there, as I am disabled and when, not if, but when, there is a problem, it's a short ride on my scooter. You'd think being disabled they would be careful, not on your life.

I have only ever experienced first class service from this pharmacy so much so their pharmacist saved me from having a stroke or heart attack ! I was picking up my stomach medication when she offered to take my blood pressure which was 210/120 . No matter what I’ve gone in for they give you their expert help saving the NHS wasted doctors appointments.

Pretty good pharmacy on the whole. Sometimes rarely they do drop the ball but get things sorted asap. Pretty efficient usually...as mentioned elsewhere they can sometimes appear a bit distracted (even morose ?) but I suspect the sheer number of people through the door with a myriad needs is a bit grinding. So be polite to the staff and smile at them, they are there to help.
