1st day for parents and kids back after the second lockdown the traffic wardens were fining parents. Heartless... Out of touch, sick.

They have been caught removing road safety signs and safety markings on the roads surface because they cannot be bothered to maintain them properly.

Stupid bunch to be honest.Been trying to report the lack of grit in the bins, no number works.Snow is bad here, had to get 3 people to pull a wheelchair up the hill yesterday. We always grit for the old people in the village, but unable to do so this year.

Over the phone these people were incredibly helpful, polite and understanding!!However, perhaps other people have a different experience?!~ if they are strppy due to the frustrations that might not have anything to do with a particular department,,,It's not the person's fault!!(*Try to find out what Dept and Hour's are appropriate for the problems you may have!;*)Best to find out who you are needing to speak with and always remember that the majority of people are doing their best to help!!(*True there are some folks , everywhere who seem to delight in being Obstructive!*)And remember that they are like you, only human beings as well.Best of luck to anyone who has to be in touch with Cumbia, County Council.

My granddaughter has not been able to go to school for 15 months due to physical, mental and emotional abuse. The SEND team have been involved due to her additional learning needs. They have been nothing but unsupportive, uncooperative and patronising. They even submit reports that are in excess of 2years old and try to pass it off as updated.SHOCKING THEY ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. FIRST IN LINE FOR THEIR PAY LAST IN LINE TO HELP

The woman on reception is beyond patronising. If she is unable to answer your question she becomes rude and patronsising instead of just saying - i will ask someone else.

Absolutely the worst service you could imagine. Randomly stopped collecting our bin waste without notice and have now said they won't collect it for the foreseeable future because we are on a new build site. Paid for a green bin about 2 months ago but hasn't arrived - one person said they got lost finding out address (although it's on Google maps) and another said the bins aren't yet available due to supply issues - which one is it?! Lies and excuses for a terrible and lazy service. I don't know how they can justify collecting over £200 council tax from us each month and not provide us with any kind of service. Utterly disgraceful and embarrassing!

For a local council they do well. No they are not perfect, of course they would like to pay care workers and all employees more money. The only way to do that is to put council tax rates up even more and lets face it they are quite high compared to the cost of housing. Overall the council does a great job on recycling, parking enforcement and community projects. They struggle with fly-tippers, people who drop litter, and vandalism. All of which costs us all money. They are OUR council, they are non-profit and they are their for our benefit. Hats off to them and the hard working employees.

Reported a faulty parking machine to them yesterday and they are not interested. Refer you into a broken system where a general report is impossible if you don't have things like post code, os coordinates or such like. Ridiculous.
