Very nice food, it's not the cheapest here but understandably so when you get the food. It's hot, tasty calamari were perfect.Service is good even when busy.Allergy awareness is great and accommodates weird allergies.We sat on the balcony which are part of the historic Chester rows. Great view, but at the time we were dining the sun missed us... No worries the view made up for that....There are seats on the bridge Street level inside and out, an upstairs and balcony dining.Staff seem to accommodate, always....

Our waitress Malu was amazing. She made the entire experience and was very riendly. The food and drinks she recommended were well advised and worth it.

Fabulous food, so reasonably priced, staff so attentive. Luckily, I'm eating with someone who shares, so I get to taste twice as much. Calamari is one of the best I've had, Sea Bream cooked to perfection. The belly pork, wow!!! Agsin, one of the best we've tasted, so tasty and tender!!! Chivken pate, so light and tasty. Absolutely loved the food. We will definitely return.

The food and setting are excellent here, but it was our waiter who made the evening. Special mention to James for outstanding service from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. We really enjoyed the whole meal, from the food and drink to the atmosphere and layout. Myself and my wife were keen to enjoy our first child free date night in a while and we had 3 wonderful hours here, that seemed to pass in the bat of an eye. Highly recommend, nice central location in Chester close to all the main areas too.

A really good alternative to the rest of foreign restaurants. During the week they offer a:special priced set menu with various options. You can choose between 2 or 3 course, but can decide on the 3 course after finishing the main Friendly service and very nice.

One waitress looking after all of our big family, she did Amazing!! . Food was lovely, although the small baguettes that came with the crab were very tough !.The card only policy is totally wrong!! a few members of the family wanted to use cash , caused a lot of embarrassment when we were trying to settle the bill!. Put a damper on what had been a lovely evening, hopefully in the near future they will consider cash as well as card!.

Lovely food, but quite expensive for what you get especially desert.Our waiter could’ve done with more knowledge on the drinks, as was unsure when we asked questions & asked us to look at the menu.Although the service charge was ‘optional’ we felt very pressured and awkward when we asked to remove & said we wanted to add our own tip but were told we couldn’t do so.We were telling the waiter it was a treat for us, but he came back with a rude remark as a treat is ‘going to wetherspoons’ & ‘youre hardly poor if you’re coming here’.Nice place but shame about the service.
