Booking described pitch as ‘hardstanding’, which normally means concrete but here means loose gravel. Pitch was however huge and quite good value at £24 for a campervan with two adults. We arrived before 5pm as advised and there was no one around to check us in. Toilet and shower facilities were basic. WiFi didn’t work on any devices. Black / grey waste dump was a hole in the ground with a hose to clean the tank.

Great value campsite, showers and toilets were always clean, nice big pitches and easy check in, with lots of information provided beforehand. We will definitely be returning!

This could be such a lovely site, it's looking a bit tired and neglected. The toilets, even after cleaning, looked dirty, the mop bucket and mop were disgusting for cleaning between showers. A cleaner told us they had problems with an ex employee and now they work in twos for safety as he has been threatening. Not really what you want to hear as a guest. The whole site is open to anyone as its attached to the craft Village crazy golf and farm. Not ideal really. The speed limit is 10mph, the farm vehicles were driving at much faster than this, as well as many cars going past. We waved to many children going round on the farm trailer, which is cute, but it is also annoying if you are sitting by your pitch. The crazy golf was good fun and very well done. We didn't visit the farm as we expected a concession as we were camping, but there was no obvious info on this. We felt £17 each for children and adults was a bit much. The weather was good and the week was generally OK, but won't be going back.

Just home from a 4 night stay. Loved the location . Booking was easy , even given early check in time. Pitch sizes were very good . Liked being able to chose our own pitch. Toilets and showers were immaculate and hot water at any time of the day. Added bonus of washing up station. Thank you to Lynn and the team for a pleasant stay .

Nice views and walks but lacking bins for your rubbish as well as dog poo bins.Toilets and showers appear to be cleaned just once a day so come 2pm it can be messy and need a good dam clean. We had a hard standing pitch which was stones, not good for the gods feet. The small from the toilet sewage was awful, pretty much everyday you could smell it from the original main block of toilets.WiFi was very good and with a signal from 3 mobile was really good offering 5g services.Barleylands has a lot of small craft shops, little zoo and crazy golf. Think it's expensive for what it is and with no discount for campers.

Pitch was flat, service taps close by, showers, wc and pot wash spotless. All activities on site are great for kids. Only 10 miles from home we will definitely use again.

The location to me and my family looks nice but we've all agreed that we're not satisfied, we don't like the codes on the bathroom doors and potwash area, and the mirrors are far too high for people who are adults but are like me short. Because of this we've left earlier than what we had originally booked and moving onto somewhere else. Theres nothing much for us to do around here for us adults it's more of for kids. It's a nice campsite but it's more of a seaside place we are after.

The campsite was lovely and clean and had some great views, The new shower block that was put in last week was brilliant, the hole place was clean and cleaned every day, and the showers were excellent and were nice and hot. We will be booking again as the grandchildren loved it. They could run about and play, talk to people who were passing riding their horses, and be very peaceful at night, too. I would highly recommend it for a few days away .
