Great little park near the sea front with something for everyone. Miniature steam train rides, kiddies play park, swan peddle boat rides, beautiful bandstand and gardens, coffee shop, ice cream, and plenty of ducks to feed. Well worth a visit on a sunny afternoon.

Boating lake, miniature train, toilets, all first class, BUT the water fall near to the band stand is a total pigsty, full of algae, rubbish, shopping baskets, bottles, furniture, Disgusting.

Great, fun-filled place for a day outThere is a lake with lots of ducks, also swan boats to ride around in, Minchella's ice cream place directly next to it with delicious food, a playground less than a minute away for the kids to play on and a train that often circles the park which is a great time for young ones. The park is also filled with lots of trees and plants, is wheelchair accessible with very few steps and is directly next to the fair and arcade, overall a great place to go on a day out with the family

One of the superior parks of the north east of the UK.Definitely got something for everyone and always a good place to take visitors and family out on occasions.Has ample park space, with playgrounds. A lovely lake/pond with swan/ boat rides available ( to pay for). A little train tour you can take (to pay for)And just across the road there is a whole amusement park with LOTS of fun exciting rides, rollercoasters, arcades, candyfloss, donuts - all right next to a beautiful well kept beach!It really is the perfect location for all in one fun. The amusement park has rides for little ones too.Absolutely love this place!

Fabulous park. Lots of space to play and picnic. You can hire boats on the lake, there's a fenced off children's play park, coffee shop and ice creams. There's a little train you can ride around the park. There's a bandstand where occasionally on weekends bands play for free. Park has its own toilets. And the flowers, trees and bushes are looked after. It is one of my favourite places to visit.

Park was amazing best place to get your kids to spend quality time. It was huge with plenty of options to do from playing on swings to ride a toy train. They have an amazing cafe as well for quick bites. Truly recommend.

Brilliant place to take the kids so many interesting facts dotted around displayed in a fun way and artifacts for them to learn about! Plenty of interactive displays we especially loved trying to build a roman bridge it got the whole group involved! The house is fantastic to explore my son really took everything in! We loved storytime and finding out about the foods the Romans would of ate! Definatley recommend by us we loved it!

Beautiful park. Great cafe. The little swan peddleos are a great way to spend an hour! The tiny steam train that goes round is lovely and very cheap, but you only get one lap of the park which takes approx 2 minutes.

Love this park, 2 good playgrounds for kids of all ages. A boating lake. A band stand that actually gets used. A mini steam train ride for the kids and a nice cafe for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee and ice cream.
