Our local reptile shop, well priced on reptile supplies and frozen food. Have purchased 2 piebald Royals from here, both healthy and never had any issues. Staff are always friendly.

Essex Reptile is a lovely reptile shop, staff have knowledge about the reptiles they sell, husbandry and have been able to answer any question we have had in the years we have visited this shop. They have a large and varied stock of animals, decorations for vivariums and the various bits and pieces needed to keep your reptiles comfortable, healthy and fed. We love dropping by!

Brought my ackie here a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant shop form the start, I called them and got no answer to see if they had any in stock, they called me back as they had missed my call. Got to the shop and the lady was very helpful getting me the animal and giving advice. I then a few days later had a problem with a thermostat not brought by them was me thinking I was getting a good deal online. They helped me gave me advise and even showed me the ones they use in the shop to make sure it was right for me before I brought it. I'm very impressed with them wasn't any pushing to buy anything just telling me what I needed and helping me.They have a great selection and unlike other shops in the area I have seen the animals are clearly well cared for and looked after. I know where my ackie is going when we next go on holiday for boarding.

Went to this shop this morning. This was the 4th shop I visited to purchase my first snake and setup. This shop definitely had the best service. Everything was calm and friendly and I was not being oversold anything. Really felt that the care of the animal came before the sale and the assistant was very professional. The price of the snake was the most reasonable I have seen and the price even beat the prices I had seen online. Overall this shop definitely had a great layout with enough space to see what you are buying. I went to other stores that were cramped or didn't have the variety of accessories.

Fantastic service from this shop. They went above and beyond to get our delivery to us in time for my sons birthday. Will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others. Thank you so much

We have a leopard gecko at home and normally I order live food online. But we drove past this shop on the off chance and i didnt even know it was there! The live food is very reasonably priced and good quality.I didn't get the ladies name but she was lovely and very informative, we will 100% be using this shop going forward for all our reptile needs :)

Staff friendly and helpful. Wide selection of fresh stock and everything you need including animal boarding. Parking a bit tight but other than that great.

Do not buy items sold by them via Amazon. They sent me completely the wrong item! Now I have to waste my time sending the item back, waiting for a refund, and now it's delayed my daughters lizard enclosure. Not a happy person.
