Nail Bar

I visited Nail Bar as my usual salon was not available. I was firstly surprised to learn of their 'cash only' policy and in light of Covid-19, this concerned me for obvious reasonsThe hygiene of the salon was not the best and upon arrival, I was made to feel very uncomfortable as a man having manicure services. As a paying customer, I find this appalling.The service was rushed and the staff were rude and abrupt. Within 1 hour of leaving I noticed that 2 of the nails (acrylics) were coming away and 2 had not been affixed correctly and sloping upwards. Furthermore, the applied colour smudged and chipped. I also noticed excess glue underneath my nails which felt as though this had been a rushed and incomplete job.I returned to politely ask for it to be corrected and the staff I spoke to were extremely hostile, rude and telling me it was fault for not letting them dry and that my natural nails must be too rough". I had barely began to explain when the staff member told me she could not so anything and it was my fault.I'm absolutely disgusted at the service and the attitude of the staff towards customers.I would not recommend this place."

Read some of the more negative reviews - not my experience at all. Polite and friendly staff, clean environment. Been 3 times, easy walk in system, not had to wait too long and the manicures have all been good and lasted more than 2 weeks, which is really good as my hands have been through hell while moving house. The only thing - they don't do the nice little massage and hand cream at the end.

I've used this nail bar on and off for the past few years. Always get my toes done and always very happy with them.Fingers are very hit and miss depending on who you get. You don't book an appointment so just sit and wait. I've never waitied more than 30 mins though.Hygiene is definitely a bit dodgy so I wouldn't have a full pedicure.Kim the owner is lovely and friendly and they have a huge range of colours to choose from.It's cash only.Gel toes £20

I went here to get my acrylics done, the staff were very rude, they didn't do my nails anything like what i asked for and cut my fingers several times causing them to bleed. The prices are way too high for the poor quality of nails they do. I would not recommend going here and i certainly will not be coming here again.

I got a full set of acrylics done here. There was no hygiene procedure in place, whilst getting my acrylics the lady doing it cut all my fingers apart from my thumbs whilst using the electric file around my cuticles leaving them bleeding and painful for days. The actual acrylic itself is peeling off after 5 days.The ladies were nice in there but will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend at all.

My young daughter went here and paid £8 for poor service and badly applied nail varnish. The man who served her actually used his own nail instead of an implement to push back her nail quick. There were also filings from other people's nails still on the table. I wish I had been there at the time as I'd have advised her to hold onto her money and go somewhere more hygienic.

I got acrylics done here a week ago and my experience was awful. The staff members were rude and I was laughed at when I asked for normal nail polish instead of gel. A staff member was rude and blunt and told me I could leave despite my gels still being wet. Wouldn’t recommend this nail place at all.

I visited the nail bar today for the first time - great service and everyone was very friendly and efficient - my nails are perfect and look wonderful. I will definitely be returning

Not a great experience. I asked for a design on my nails and it ended up looking like I did it myself. I had to ask them to paint over it. They made me wait 40 mins until they’d finished with the next couple of people after me. The end result was ok, but not what I wanted.They didn’t start the gel from the base of my nail so they already look a week old on day 1. Also you can see the glue sticking out of the sides.They are also very harsh when filing the nails and the shop is dated and not the cleanest.

It was my first time getting acrylics. Overall I was happy with the service and was good value for money. However one woman I had who was shaping my nails was very harsh with the filing and as a result cut me several times on my finger tips. I would totally recommend going here but be prepared to wait as it gets rather busy.
