Parking FOR St Cybi's Well

The map shows the parking where you get on the field through the gate. No space for parking unless you come on a scooter or skateboard. A 100 yards away on edge of the hamlet is a grass verge just enough for couple of cars to pull on to.

If you cannot find this don’t give up. You will find it eventually beneath a weird pointy hill just outside the village of Llangybi. Turn right leaving the village. Look for a sign in the hedge on your right. Park your car by the side of the road. Wade through mud in the pouring rain only to find there’s a higher, drier route not by the stream (turn uphill after the second gate). When you find the well I promise you it will indeed be magical especially if the sun is shining.

The parking for this remote old well was amazing! I have NEVER had such a great time. Heaven knows why we aren't asked to comment on parking next to a field in the middle of the countryside more often!

Lovely tranquil walk to well

Can be muddy at times. Keep dogs on a lead. Historic well.

Convenient roadside parking (for a few vehicles) to access the path to St Cybi's Well. The path is easy to find and follow from the green kissing gate at the roadside, straight down to the next green kissing gate: from there follow alongside the stream a short while until you get to the site.*ALTERNATIVE ROUTE*: Park beside the church in the village, head to the rear left corner of the graveyard & cross the stile. Follow the wall on your left to the bottom if the field, then down the 'steps' to arrive beside the well site.
