Formby Point Caravan Park
Mainly static, but a spot for tourers. Price reflex facilities are basic.Dog friendly - beach 5 mins walk through the sand dunes accessed from the site.Everyone very friendly. Owners lovely.Will definitely be booking again.If you want peace and quiet this is perfect :)

Fab site in Formby, easy access to the dunes and beach via a gate at the back of the site. The site itself is about 30 mins walk from Formby where there are shops, restaurant's and bars. The train station it in Formby where you can easily and very quickly get to Southport and Liverpool

Been going there over 40 years never had a single problem. Loverly owners go out of their way to help with any problems (nothing major).

Beautiful quiet little site ideally located for access to beach and park areas. Clean and well organised with good amenities.

Toilet facilities were spotless but ladies didn't have any sanitary bins. Take your own toilet roll if you're disabled as it's difficult to twist and get the roll provided. Also showers dont really cater for the disabled population. A plastic chair would solve that.No bins except for one skip near reception. It is ok for a few nights or longer for those who dont have any mobility issues. Lots of sand dunes one way but a flatter way out of site to the left. Staff were friendly.

I just stayed for 5 nights on this lovely site, perfectly clean and plenty of hot water in the showers. Great location, lovely stroll to beautiful sandy beach. Pinewoods for children to play in.Very peaceful and quiet setting, lots of birdsong.Site owners Margaret and Shaun are very friendly and approachable, the owners of the statics are friendly too, listen for the parrot whistling as you walk to the rubbish disposal!Thoroughly recommend this site. £25n inc EHU.

Lovely quiet caravan site, well maintained and just a short walk from the sand dunes, beach and red squirrel reserve.Friendly and helpful owners too.
