Have been using these guys for 3 years now , installed our heating system and have them vack every year for a service. Friendly service and always nice engineers that come out. Recommend

Heating and plumbing engineers are extremely difficult to come across so they inevitability command a high day rate as a result. BUT for getting well rewarded, the customer should expect a high quality of workmanship and full attention to detail in return.We had a heat only boiler replaced and the labour cost was higher than the price of the boiler. After their visit we now have a kitchen ceiling to fix because the commissioning checks on the system were skimped on. Two return visits were needed to rectify the problem because the engineer did not listen or appreciate what we were saying and blamed the shower for the leak.Finding that the radiators are full of air and no mention of testing for, or adding inhibitor to the system seems sloppy in the extreme.Perhaps it was a bad day just after new year but as a customer I feel disappointed in their performance and will look elsewhere in future

I needed a repair to a split pipe at short notice, and fortunately Patterson Heating was able to fit me in. They kept me informed about what they were doing, along with recommendations for preventative actions to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence. I cannot fault their work, their professionalism, or their prices. Happy to recommend Patterson Heating to anyone in a similar position.

Read my email screenshot for more detail about their shoddy business practice.we have a leaking in the house. i called a number of plumbers which this company promptly replied to my text and asked me to call them to arrange an appointment which i did. my address was taken, and was told someone would come later in the afternoon.their employee showed up soon, i was pleasantly surprised, he was friendly and helpful, but was unable to fix the problem or find the exact problem without further digging up the floor, which he suggest i book more hours. i found his expression a little off, but took it as he will go back and give me a quote.the next day, i got an email invoice asking to pay £80 for that half an hour the enginner spent yesterday.i know there are call out charged in certain businesses, but they always tell you upfront when you make a booking and agree to paying it, and most builders and repairs companys will come and visit on site to access the situation and give you a free quotation.when i registered my complaint with the company, i was replied with this exact quote:'' as when we have visited you previously there is a call out charge. Otherwise we would spend all day just telling people what the problem was and making no money, ''this company has an 9.89 score on checkatrade, read these email exchanged and tell me if this company truly deserve that score.if you think about calling this company, think again.

I’ve had the boiler serviced by Patterson for years and their engineers are always polite, efficient and clean up afterwards. The boiler transformer blew this week just as a cold snap was imminent- despite a rush of other boiler breakdowns they managed to fit me in quickly for the repair. Many thanks!

Been using this family based company since we moved to Horsham some years ago. Can’t imagine using anyone else. All the people they send out are very high quality and polite and tidy

Always really helpful, explain what they need to do before they do it and discuss costs and options. All the team are very friendly with great senses of humour and they even make a fuss of my dog which he loves. I can honestly say they are customer focused as I have never felt like I have been over charged or taken advantage of which I have felt with other plumbers. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs a fantastic plumber who is friendly helpful, honest and leaves your house as they found it.
