The staff can be a bit rude here, most of the time to each other in the presence of customers.Aside from that the food is pretty good, wide range of options and a kids menu, though it can get quite expensive.

The food is very good. But the man from the kitchen was very rude to the boy on the till and kept interrupting him while I was trying to order after I had already waited 5 minutes at the till. He didn't seem to have much concern for his customers.

Been a fairly regular customer but today received some pretty poor service. Took at least 20 minutes to get our bagel and hotdog. When it turned up we asked about the wait and the elderly man working there just walked off. The attitude from the rest of the staff that we saw was pretty poor as well. If we feel like giving this place another try, we hope to see an improvement in the service as the hotdogs can be quite nice.

I stopped by on my lunch break and was a little suspicious as to why the place was empty when most other places nearby had the typical lunchtime queues. Undeterred, I ordered 'The Bronx' and sat outside on the benches. On the bench next to me sat two women, one of whom was halfway through her meal from the nearby Humpit, whilst the other waited eagerly clutching her Primo's table number. I started to worry a little when they exclaimed how long she had been waiting as headed back inside to check on her meal. Her meal arrived shortly after, and I assumed since I'd just opted for a hot dog rather than the full works, mine should shortly follow. Unfortunately, time passed and I needed to head back to the office, so I headed inside and asked for my food to takeout. I guess from the cashiers response that customers not anticipating the slow speed of service was a regular occurrence, he apologised profusely and told me it was on its way.My hot dog arrived in a takeaway container and I was in too much of a hurry to realise the slaw was missing as I ran back to the office.I ate at my desk. As you can imagine, by this point I was ravenous and couldn't wait for 'a taste of real american dogs' as they put it. Much like the service, the food was underwhelming, especially considering it cost almost a fiver. It was tasty enough (hence the two stars), but the hot dog itself wasn't particularly noteworthy whilst the chilli lacked flavour and the monterey jack cheese didn't add anything to the experience except calories. Maybe the slaw could have been the saviour, but as I mentioned earlier it was missing in action. It now makes perfect sense why this place was deserted at lunchtime despite its location - although I'm sure there are some worthwhile options on the menu, your hard earned money can buy you a lot more nearby and the unless the kitchen picks up the pace there isn't much appeal to stop by here in you want a quick bite. Hot dogs (even 'gourmet' hot dogs) shouldn't take that long, perhaps they've overcomplicated it.It also worth noting that the prices on their website are outdated at the time of writing, and it is more expensive in the actual store.

Standard hotdog & 'extras' place but done and presented very well. Pretty cheap too

The beer was warm, the waitress threw our chips all over us and barely apologised and didn't even offer to replace them. The chips were half cooked. In spite of this fiasco the hot dog was good.

There was one other table aside from us (3 on theirs, 2 on ours) waited half an hour for 2 hot dogs with fries. The caramelized onions were raw and the melted cheese was draped over the side of the tray. Overpriced with poorly trained staff and pretentious food.

The sausages or 'dogs' themselves are very bland, taste just like the ones you get from the tin, the toppings though sound extravagant are far from it, again, it doesn't taste homemade. Most disappointingly the milkshakes are far from what is advertised, I bought a Daim Milkshake that was promised to be made with ice cream, topped with more cream and a cherry on top and it had none of those in it. Very bland meal and over priced. Shame though, one of the older members of the waiting staff were lovely.
