Stripy Duck Cafe is beautiful. A secret magical spot in Bruton. Spent hours looking through books, playing games and drinking coffee. Such a beautiful little space! One must visit and experience the calming energy themselves!

Such an unusually quirky cafe with an amazing selection of books. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was excellent with a great selection of cakes. Highly recommended place to visit with friends. A home away from home ❤️

Popped in this morning and had a great pecan and raspberry browny. Spied, they had interesting mushroom and cheese tarts, so I came back at lunch for one of those and a repeat of a great de-caf almond cappuccino!Oh, and they had an interesting range of books!

Stripy Duck Café & Bookshop
I stopped for a coffee on my cycle from Lands End to Lowestoft in early May 2023, I had a most enjoyable chat with a fellow patron John who recommended A human Heart by William Boyd. I have just finished it and really enjoyed it, and wanted to say thank you, to John and to the proprietor for having the book on her shelves. I hope John also enjoyed my pick of The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I finished my cycle (523miles in the end) and raised £5,000 for CRUK.
