I purchased a Fender Lite Ash Strat from Tim at String Theory. Guitar was in excellent condition,good case,and Tim was waiting for me.Nice shop,if a little cosy,but brilliant personal service. Five stars.

Tim is a lovely bloke with lots of lovely guitars, at great prices!His studio is tiny though, so buy lots of guitars off Tim so he can get a bigger studio and lovelier guitars.

I bought a reissue 56 Les Paul from Tim at String Theory yesterday. It’s the Epiphone 2005 version of the 56 Gold Top and I absolutely love it. It’s exactly as described and plays extremely well and at a sensible price. I found Tim to be a knowledge and useful person to deal with. I have nothing but praise for his attention to detail and I highly recommend him. If anyone wants to contact me, I’m more than happy to confirm my positive experience. I suspect I’ll be speaking to Tim again!!!!!!!!

I arranged a viewing with Tim 2 days prior to my visit earlier today 27th October 23, and despite the intricacies of traffic congestion on both M4 and M32 managed to get there on time where I was punctually and cordially greeted by Tim [the owner] and had the opportunity to browse his fabulous collection of pre- loved guitars. I had already decided on the make and model I wanted, [but was very tempted by many others ] and while he made me a cup of tea [after my 75 mile journey ] I gave the guitar selected a testing workout.It was perfect , everything and more !! We spent a pleasant half hour discussing our various musical journeys and I found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. He provides a great service from choice to setup, purchase and aftersale of pre-loved guitars at sensible prices. This I'm certain won't be my only visit to his shop. Highly recommended and I feel I've gained a friendship into the bargain. Keep up the great work , Tim.
