The SUP Life

Great lesson with The SUP Life today. It was a bit drizzly, but once we were off and paddling it was all good. Great instruction. Thanks Lorraine, we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic (first) time on the paddle boards with SUP at Coppa! Lorraine and her team so helpful and professional. The Thames is so beautiful at Streatley. Having the changing rooms was brilliant and food afterwards at Coppa was great too.Thank you so much.Lisa

Both my wife and I were absolute beginners, who’d never tried SUP before. Lorraine was a brilliant teacher who ran through the basics before we even went near the water. She discussed the board, paddle, leash and how to get back on the board if (when) we fell off.I fully expected to spend the first lesson kneeling down, but after a short while, Lorraine encouraged us to have a go at standing up. I lasted about 5 seconds before my jelly legs got the better of me and I ended up in the river! My wife was much better though and was straight up.The whole experience lasted about 90 mins, and it was a lovely way to pass the time on a beautiful sunny day. We also treated ourselves to lunch in the The Swan afterwards.I am now looking for somewhere to try SUP again nearer home in Yorkshire. Thanks for your tuition and patience, Lorraine.

Superb family paddle boarding last weekend. Lucky to have perfect weather conditions (until the end when the head wind was quite intense!). We paddled as a family of 5 (3 kids, youngest 10yrs) and a dog (on the board for the first time!). The SUP Life team were fantastic, great communication, very good quality equipement, no extra charge for the dog and the dry bag. Lovely stretch of river, too. Highly recommended! Will be back for sure.

Great setting, team, equipment and route - all very smooth & easy - highly recommend & would go again || We booked a morning 2 hr SUP session early September and lucky enough to get the perfect weather for the occasion. The whole process with SUP Life was super easy with Lorraine & her team, great recommendation for the route which was incredibly calm on the day we went, followed up with a refreshing drink at the Coppa Club after!

I’ve paddle boarded a couple times previously and thought I knew what to do. Having a lesson with Lorraine I quickly learnt this wasn’t entirely true :). Lorraine was a great instructor; friendly, welcoming, informative and fun. Had a great hours lesson and now have even more fun on my board. Well worth it and highly recommend SUP Life.

As a mums group we wanted to get away with dinner and paddle boarding-the location is breathtaking. We absolutely loved the session, everything was a breeze with booking, communication was brilliant and they were super accommodating when someone had to pull out from our booked session. Lorraine the trainer was very patient with us, constantly praising and encouraging us throughout our training session. It didn't take long before we were out on the water. The session was very worthwhile and I would highly recommend this company for complete novice training. Thank you for the training session. Dave and Mary.

Fantastic experience, great teacher and an absolutely beautiful stretch of the Thames. This was my first time on a paddleboard and Lorraine made it fun and stress-free. Always great to learn a new skill, especially when you have such a good teacher! The Thames between Streatley and Cleeve is beautiful and there's always the fantastic Coppa Club for food and drink afterwards

Such a fun session!A friend and I booked a private lesson to see if we’d enjoy paddle boarding. From the warm welcome, through the expert tuition and the chat along the river, we had a hugely enjoyable trip. Will definitely be back for board hire!
