Clachtoll Beach
Clacktoll Beach is a stunning find on the west coast of Scotland, near Lochinver. The beach is well signposted and there is a car park with a toilet (20p - unless someone can hold / guard the door!) which is open from April to October. The beach is accessed via a lovely board walk. The sand is beautiful and the sea was crystal clear. We watched the sunset and it proved to be a popular spot with several others also watching the sunset, although the beach was generally quiet. There is a large campsite next to the car park.We visited late October in 2023.

Clachtoll Beach
An amazing, small, sheltered bay with pristine white sand; perfect for swimming (if you can take the cold!) or watersports. Walking beyond the beach to the headland provides an astounding view towards the impressive mountains of the area, including, Suilven, Canisp, Cul Mhor and Stac Pollaidh. Unforgettable

A very beautiful place with stunning mountain views. The beach is clean with light sand. The water is bright blue, making you feel like you're somewhere in the Maldives. Parking is paid, 2 hours for £1.There are toilets available. Nearby, you can find fish and chips. If you visit this beach, take the time to drive further along the coastal road, and you'll discover even more magnificent landscapes – on one side, there are mountains with waterfalls, and on the other, the ocean.

Absolutely stunning beach! White sands and turquoise water; on the cold side :) . Worth a dip regardless.Picturesque dive to get to, large cars and vans can get through and is on the tight side of things . Though lots of passing points!

I would give a million stars, if I could. I was totally taken by surprise at Scotish beaches and how beautiful they are! We caught this beach at the end of a storm and at the start of the sun arriving, so we had it to ourselves for about 30 minutes before the crowd from the Campground arrived. Regardless... it was beautiful! Soft sand and crystal clear water!

Blessed with fab weather which always makes a difference but this beach is amazing.Sea Turquoise and clear.Sand white and clean. Not overcrowded either.Better than the Med.Great they have a toilet within easy distance too. Helps Stop unnecessary contamination.Loved it.

Lovely beach. Despite being remote it was surprisingly busy, but still quiet by most beach standards! It’s small so fills up quickly. There is a good mix of sand and rock pools to explore here.Toilets on site are fine.
