From start to finish you have been Amazing ,professional ,affordable and friendly I am delighted with my new Bosky Klaretta its no wonder you have been in business over 60 years simply you are the premier of woodstove suppliers/fitters in these 2 counties and I suspect far beyond that too , The guys that came to fit it made virtually no mess in removing my old flood damaged stove and what they did make they cleaned up anyway and then polished my new stove to perfection, I simply could not be happier with the work you have done today , You have blown me away Taltrees , and this thing is an absolute Furnace , small firebox so I thought ,but so well designed and bloody hot ! After 4 ranges and alot of flood damage this is the best one Ive ever owned Thank you, I am absolutely delighted and that is a understatement

Do not use this company. I contacted them because I believed them to be reliable, trustworthy and established, I could not have been more mistaken in my initial assessment. I had two fireplaces replaced, one I like and they have done a good job, the other was substandard and amateurish and was a great source of embarrassment to me as everyone who viewed it thought it looked shocking. This second fireplace has required a lot of work to rectify at my expense, has caused enormous stress, mess and taken up a considerable amount of my time. In the first instance the salesman placates the customer without properly establishing the best course of action and offering alternatives. The workforce did not start the job when they were supposed to, or at a reasonable time thereafter. In addition the workforce, of which there were several different teams, had conflicting opinions on how the job should be undertook, did a lot of hanging around and were quite happy to voice these differing opinions to me and go against the recommendations of the salesman. By doing so, they created doubt and a confusing situation which subsequently hindered the whole process and threw it into chaos. Furthermore there is a culture of mendacity and diffusion of responsibility within the company that is literally staggering. This emanates from the top down as the manager told me his workforce were idiots and the workers were equally disrespectful of the salesman and manager which is totally unprofessional. Instead of completing one of the two jobs to the agreed specification and to my satisfaction the workforce were more keen to leave as early as possible, one of them lay on my floor like a teenager, instead of working and worst of all two of them were watching YouTube videos of Alf Garnett when they should have been completing my job. This perfectly sums the company up in my opinion, misogynistic, infantile, outdated and an anachronism. They would not have treated a male customer in the same manner.

This is such a lovely place to visit in the heart of Tenbury Wells and the show room has so many fire places to choose from, whether you're looking for solid fuel or gas fires, they have it all.We recently had our boiler updated and we could not be more pleased with the service with which we received from start to finish. After spending some time attempting to get a stove installer out to even take a look (difficult around Ludlow it seems!), we contacted Taltrees, who we discovered during our conversation had fitted the stove in our property over 20 years ago! The owner, Geoff Buckingham-Bowden, came out himself, measured up, and gave us practical advice on our options (and no sales). We ordered a stove, paid a deposit, and they arranged a fitting time about 5 weeks later once the stove was in stock. During the fitting over 3 days the fitters stayed in touch and contacted us with questions regarding the hearth and the stove itself. I have to say they were very professional and clearly skilled in what they do (we had an LPG gas stove fitted in a holiday cottage and we were not present during the installation). What impressed me most was when I popped down to look following the fitting, our cottage was in an incredibly clean condition. Taltrees had been plastering, they had removed an old stove, hearth and fake stone chimney, but everything was left absolutely spotless. Not expected and pleasantly surprised. Taltrees were the fifth firm we made contact with in our attempts to get a wood-burning stove installed. First firm wanted all the money up front and before even coming round. Second firm never returned our calls. Third firm say yes, then backed out. Fourth guy was aggressive. But we could not be more pleased with Taltrees! Their initial survey was timely, considered and helpful. Although their van broke down when coming on the first day to install, they phoned, apologised and rescheduled by a day. They worked hard and politely in our house, and made us all feel safe. The guy who went up the cherry-picker to put the steel flue down our very high chimney is one skilled dude! All the remedial making good and re-plastering has been done to a high standard. And now we have a superb wood-burning stove that works really well! Great firm - highly recommended.

Had an issue with the handle of our woodburner (it kept falling off) and feared that the thread on the screw had gone and, worst case, would need a new door. No chance. Called in to Tall Trees and met an extremely helpful member of staff who felt it was a fairly straightforward issue. Left the door with them and was called later the same day to say it was sorted. The staff member who fixed it came out and explained the problem and how it was resolved. Faboulous and very friendly service and would go there again with any issues. Thoroughly recommend. A real pleasure to deal with Geoff at Taltrees Stoves when buying our wood fired Bosky F30 Evo Central Heating Cooker. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge; the whole process of purchase and delivery was faultless and we were kept informed at every stage. Geoff also happily provided helpful advice after installation on running the stove. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for future purchases and advice.

After being messed around by another company and even paying £60 for a survey to be done and they still didn't come back with a quote, we went to Taltrees. Great service from start to finish and we were thrilled with end result. The fitting team were extremely professional and friendly.

Fire was fitted at my parents, and then shortly after condemned!! Not before the fire Filled the house with smoke. My dad at this time was suffering from a lung disease!! When the fire was finally signed off as safe, only after multiple visits, did they then ignored every letter asking them to fix the damage the smoke had caused. If it wasn’t for my dads ill health the matter would of been taken further! Anyone who would like to see proof of all this, don’t hesitate to contact me! I have copies of everything… pictures and all documentation. Don’t touch this company if you value your safety. Absolute joke and a serious risk to life!!!

We are really pleased with our new log burner - the installation date was much sooner than expected - thank you! and the installation team were very professional and helpful as were the team at Taltrees show room. Great to deal with a local company.
