PROBABLY THE WORST CHINESE TAKE AWAY I HAVE EVER HAD.We normally use the Golden Star but decided to give Chan’s a go as it has just opened. What a big mistake that was and would NEVER go back. We ordered our food just after 6pm and was advised delivery would be about 7pm which was no problem as it was a Friday night. We ordered a 3 in 1 tray meal of noodles, chicken balls and chicken curry (we thought the clue was in the title and that it would come in a tray), Chips, chicken chow mein and chicken in satay sauce. Not too adventurous or complicated (so we thought).The food arrived almost bang on 7pm and we immediately thought the order was a bit light. That is because it was. There was no 3 in 1 tray meal and we had a very watery dish that we couldn’t actually distinguish and we had a Singapore chow mein which we didn’t order. The chips and chicken chow mein were ok. It turns out the watery dish was the chicken in satay sauce. We thought chicken in satay sauce was meant to be peanuty. It was very watery and more like a soup and I actually did drink most of it. We rang straight away to advise the order wasn’t right and they apologised and said they would bring the tray meal and another chicken in satay sauce. They arrived about half an hour later. The tray meal looked like they had thrown it across the room or played football with it. It was all leaking out of the side of the tray and the chicken balls were all soggy and the noodles were slimy and all soggy. When eating the chicken curry I found a bone in it that was about 2cm in length. The chicken in satay sauce was slightly thicker but still nothing like what we expected.All in all a very poor meal and very poor experience. WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN. I only scored this review a 1 as that was the lowest score I could give it. I would of given it a 0 if I could.Please don’t waste your money like we did and be disappointed with a poor Chinese meal from this place.

Was not impressed with the food we had from here last night. Rice wasn't cooked tidy, the chicken was cooked too much, there was no taste to the curry sauce and the chicken balls were the tiniest chicken balls I have ever seen!Only good thing was apparently the barbecue sauce for my mams spare ribs was nice. We won't be ordering from here again.

Sorry for the negativity but this was the worst Chinese I've had in a while. Everything was just completely tastless. Chow mein was dry with no taste, sweet and sour sauce was like water, chicken curry was thick and like jelly before I gave it a stir. Nearly £30 wasted. You guys need to do better.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!I had a veg chow mein last night. 6/11/23All night had stomach cramps.This afternoon I had projectile vomitting ! I have never felt so ill. I was bed ridden all day.Contacted them at 6.45 to complain.Manager said that he has had no other complaints so cooking and food must be good.In other words he is calling me a liar.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FOOD FROM HERE.I advise you do the same !!!!!!!!!!

Really disappointed - Sweet an sour sauce of very watery and taste less - Noodles should have teriyaki sauce on but can’t taste it. Shredded beef over cooked.

Ordered a special curry + rice and chicken chow main.The chow main was inedible as it was way too salty. Likely used too much soy sauce whilst cooking.The special curry had 4 bits of chicken a Prawn and a couple of very thin slices of beef not happy when paying almost £7 for just the curry.

Two hours late, bland and cold food and the sweet and sour chicken sauce was pink? Very strange will avoid going forward!

Wouldn't even give it a one if I could ordered a 3 in 1 tray 'rice chips and chicken balls with curry sauce' chips were old dried up ones, the rice also was dried up and had a disgusting taste to it with the tiniest amount of curry sauce which tasted of perfume ,pancake rolls which were slimey inside and tasted of perfume and consisted of all bean sprouts and one tiny piece of chicken and ordered a noodle box which costed nearly £15 alone as added extra duck and king prawns which it only has 2 of each of the duck and king prawns in the whole noodle box also was supposed to have satay sauce and came completely dry so the only item I could actually consumed was the chicken balls in the tray. I will never return again and have pictures of food, this isn't any acceptable way to sell food
